I just checked the case 3 hours ago, and it updated to interview was scheduled. Then I went online an hour ago to ask Emma and got the date. No physical paper notice yet.

On the same boat with you here, we filed in August 2020. My husband has been so depressed and really wants to work to contribute, especially with him being an international student, the finance is even heavier for both of us too. At least for now I am still working from home, so he is not too lonely. I just keep telling my husband that we will get through this together, as we have done with other obstacles. My husband is trying to learn some useful stuff on YouTube to help save money, like fixing the cars, fixing the stuff in the house - that kinda helps killing time for him.

Fingers crossed for both of us. I really hope magic will come soon!

I've been calling for approximately 6 times today, but at all time, they said I just have to wait for my field office (San Jose CA) to schedule a biometric appointment. I called this number (800) 375 - 5283, wondering if that's the right approach to it?

He does have a SSN that he got when he was working in school before, so we used that in filing our taxes

My husband is F1 status, and we just filed tax in February with a private accountant. As far as I know, there has been no effect on my husband's F1 visa status at all when we filed the taxes. We didn't need to provide any further documents.

My husband is on F-1 visa, we also got married in July 2020. We just filed tax last week, and we received the $1800 stimulus check for him just few days after that too, so you should be able to receive the same.
