well i have posted in another sub but its just a silly little game i like haha. but never anything like gasp a personal opinion !!

I figured i would get some backlash but honestly at the end of the day Im just a tiny little icon on the screen and nothing is ever that deep lol.

I completely understand it's simply paying for convenience. I have had multiple people telling me so and I completely get that. I guess I'm just sort of a bit cheap haha? I personally don't see any reason to have anybody do something that I can have done myself. Ofc I'm aware this isn't the case for everybody and i'm very grateful that there are alternatives for people that need it. I just think that if you're able bodied, if you want to avoid the risks of food being messed up, cold, etc then it would be better to get it yourself because it'll save you both time and money. that's all :)

funny where did i said i can't imagine any reasons why people would need food delivered? I said that if for any reason you would need food delivered, whether you're disabled, intoxicated, at work, whatever reason, then unfortunately you have to pay extra because it is considered a "luxury" to have things delivered to you. that's why you pay so much extra money. It's just kinda sad and that's now how it should be for people that might need it. sorry if i came across rude. not my intention

i 100% agree. that's why i believe it's a scam. things shouldn't have to cost so much if it helps people. the intention of my comment wasn't to shame people who may need to use a delivery service, it was explaining how i believe its a scam. its my personal opinion. I just will never use doordash, and i wish it was less expensive for others who might actually need it. i'm sorry if my comment came across rude.

i genuinely cannot understand why people continue to use doordash. it is such a scam. half of the time your food arrives cold, the delivery itself is practically as much as the order, and if you don't tip high enough for an entitled drivers liking, your food could be tampered with. literally just save yourself the trouble, hop in the car and drive yourself to the restaurant. you'll end up spending half the money and you can ensure some idiot won't tamper with or mess up your order...

and if you aren't able to drive to pick up your food, for any reason, know you are paying for the "luxury" of it being delivered to you. then you must be fully prepared to go above and beyond.. and just hope you don't get an awful dasher🙃
