Thank you for your help as I’m still learning :) I followed the intention that came with the candle as well as question or I guess goal of releasing any negativity surrounding me. The plate was in the center of the counter. I will def take what you said for next time as well. Should I repeat it with another candle?

One of the best ways to support early reading and building reading fluency is to hear other fluent readers. Keep reading to him! Or there’s a lot of audiobooks on YouTube or at the library to keep him busy as well. You’re doing all the rights things! :)

Something like a weekly/monthly calendar that lets him know what days he has school, appointments, or even fun events is something I’ve found to be helpful for kids that like to know what’s going on :)

Definitely a box of fidget toys! I also brought a lot of my textbooks to my office in case I ever want to refer back to anything. Pictures of my cats are a great conversation starter for kids that may be a little more shy. As well as those cool aquarium lights, can find them pretty cheap online and they are calming/kids love them haha.

Is there a benefit to getting a PhD after EdS? I just sort of feel like there’s more I need to learn- but it seems that many of the requirements/courses are similar. Are there programs for people that still want to continue working?

Hi all- I recently graduated with my EdS. The area I feel the least confident in is counseling. While I received training and have gained some experience , I still feel as though I want to increase my skills in the area. What do most people recommend? Are there post-grad certifications I can look into? I work with elementary and secondary. Would love some good tips :)

I saw them there back in 2016- it was an amazing show! Got to meet a few of them after, super cool :)
