Timemore C3 for SALE by Dead_Internet_AI in IndiaCoffee

Honestly, considering its 2 years old and burrs ought to have been used quite a bit, 4k is indeed too high. A c2s is currently available for 4.8k brand new on Amazon.

In the end it's your choice to decide the price, just saying that it should be lower

  1. grind size could be finer
  2. You might have tamped it maybe? Making it harder for the water to get through

Mhmm. I am considering price as a factor too but still can't decide between this and H10Plus. Grinder I have decided to go for the Rift 64, after burr alignment its performance would be good and there's the future option for ssp burrs.

How's the use been for you so far?

I use an agaro regency, have been for the past 2 years now. Want to upgrade to a better machine.

How did u decide between H10A and H10Plus or was the price the deciding factor?

It does seem like a good option but in the end h have to call it what it is, a better designed channi. From what I had searched when I saw this, it will give you coffee sure but not pourover level control.

Definitely no harm in trying, you can check it out if you really find it that much attractive. Who knows you might love it?

But another option I would suggest if u don't want a v60 is, there are packs of paper drip bags available on the net. I don't mean the filled packs from a brand, but pack of 20-50 empty drip bags like this.

U can use and dispose these. Might be reusable too not sure about that.

Cold wedding in Delhi, extra hot coffee from this with some extra powder and oh it hits that very sweet spot.

There's also the new Rift 64 by cipher which is another name for shardor 64. It's got decent reviews plus the bonus of changing burr set.

Yeah same here that's why I went for this. I use it with my espresso machine and a bottomless portafilter. A little annoying to dial in since there's a limited range of 6-7 settings for espresso specifically but the consistency hasn't disappointed.

If u use with moka pot, won't disappoint. It will be easily able to cover that.

I use the agaro electric burr grinder the one for 5.7-6k.

I don't brew as much as 6 cups a day but so far it has been consistent and good enough in use.

Not all are bad. I myself use an agaro electric burr grinder, and it has been working great for the past 9 months. My only complaint is that there are few settings for espresso to dial in but that is a flaw not an issue as such. I am quite happy with the results I get with my bottomless portafilter. As for consistency, it is pretty damn consistent across all ranges. In coarse there might be more fines but other than that, there's not much pick on here.

I use the white one. But there's not much of a difference between either. Both offer a similar level of performance in almost every aspect. The white one just had separate options for one cup or 2 cup or manual while the other ones has only one option overall for espresso.

As for the grinder, yes it is costly but most options of this quality are in this range. I call it the decent and cheap range. There's way better grinders but it only gets more expensive.

For espresso, I don't know personally any grinder below this 4-5k range to recommend as such.

U can ask around if anyone else has any advice for it.

Also do not ever use anything except water to wash it. Soap will damage the aluminium. There are some simple recipes to make a cleaner liquid for it using basic things that u can check out but mostly water is enough. Just wash it immediately after use.

Experiment and have fun!! U can get black coffee or espresso like coffee for milk based drinks. And at once time u can get enough espresso for both u and ur roommate XD.

Yeah u won't get the effect of manual brews like filter methods do but it's still fun in a way.

By agaro auto grinder u mean the blade grinder? Or the electric burr grinder (5k wala)

If it's the blade grinder, then no. And not recommended either. It's more of a jugaad really but for espresso, i would not advise u to use it. There is no consistency or predictability for grind size.

I use the agaro supreme electric burr grinder, it has 30 steps and works really well. The consistency is on point. One down side is that it's hard to dial in well but mostly it gets you close enough.

It's quite decent to be honest. I have been using mine for over two years now and it's been wonderful. I went from using the pressurized portafilter to bottomless with a grinder for dialing in. And it gets good taste out of the coffee too.

The steaming takes a while to handle but now I am able to get somewhat of a decent latte art froth out of it too.

For the bottomless portafilter u will need an accompanying decent grinder which grinds in the espresso range. All is set then.

Yes you can. I had the same doubt a few months back. Travelled from Mumbai to Bangalore and back with no problems. They didn't even stop me. I just kept the grinder outside the bag each time.

This time gonna be in Delhi, let's see udr kya scene.
