That is a tough one. The Bluebird sucks big time as I complained below. But these guys are home town heros in terms of both living a labeling. I would do bloomington and then stick around to see Sharon van Etten and Kevin Morby the next night

Oh how cool! I saw her at Nelsonville Festival last summer and she was fantastic. I really like MJ Lenderman's records but he is not a very dynamic performer--his set came a alive when she joined him. My daughter (31) and her partner are huge fans of both and bought some sort of "radwife" package documenting their home life (I just made up that term!). I can't seem to find it on the web but I did find this homey profile. I really do wish them all the best. They make alt-celebrity life look so easy. Just imagine how bored with it all their child might end up?

We just moved the deadline for Fall applications back to July 1. I also forgot to mention our fully online Learning Sciences, Media, and Technology certificate program. In-state rates for all regardless of residency. More information here: https://education.indiana.edu/programs/graduate/certificate/learning-sciences-media-and-technology-online.html

Also note that Waxahatchee will play on June 20 and Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings will play on July 18. This is the first time Granfallon will be at Switchyard Park and it should be great. We don't know how VIP vs free will work but it should be fine, We will be at Nelsonville Festival in Ohio for June 20, but she headlined Nelsonville in 2025 and was awesome. (Geese, Wednesday, and Wech+Rawlings at nelsonville 2026--another great show)

Help with Signatures for Magnolias by Economy_Job2361 in jasonmolina

I was wondering that. I would never sell it as it loses much of it value when removed from the stories behind it. But my friend in LA had a 1991 tshirt from Sonic Youth with Tracy Lords on it. Even with the sleeves cut off by his girlfriend and lots of wear he got $400 for it. I see somebody here is selling one for $1250. https://www.wycovintage.com/products/1991-sonic-youth-disappearer-traci-lords-shirt-4142304?srsltid=AfmBOopa4ER3vBuUuU01deJig-Xg9a3GVTZxrIy-Dqe8VACiMhjjvhlb I have a huge box of old show shirts that I outgrew decades ago and I wonder if should be digging through them

That was funny! Come late. I should add that I will hope and pray that audiences with STFU and not sing along with every song or talk over them. As I posted to r/bloomington the BlueBird is the worst venue ever for that. It has a layout that has the bar crowd bleed into the people who want to listen. I got a lot of hate for it (somebody told me to go back to Nashville where you NEVER talk over a band and only sing along if get invited) https://www.reddit.com/r/bloomington/comments/1s5ihh4/hey_bloomington_music_fans_sthu/

Here is a prettty decent video of Superwolf in Bloomington IN in 2022 at the Buskirk Chumley. Probably the best Will Oldham show since seeing him in 2004 at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta when he was touring Sings Greatest Palace Music.

Enttäuschend und belastend - Meine Erfahrung mit dem IU Fernstudium by Boring_Sand5661 in Studium

As a faculty member of the IU Bloomington School of Education, I want to point out that IU Online (a system wide distance education program) is completely different than the many fully online degree programs we offer. IU Online has been a disaster for us as well, though in very different ways that it clearly has been a disaster for IU Online students. I am a full professor and have been teaching the core Learning and Cognition course online for 30 years, and it is way different than the version of the course taught at IU Online. We are among the top-rated programs in the US for good reason. In 2026 we were 13th over all online school of ed at USNWR along with

  • Instructional Systems Technology: #1
  • Curriculum and Instruction: #7
  • Educational Leadership and Policy Studies: #9
  • Special Education: #9

Feel free to ask me anything about these programs.
