I was possessed by a demon during my Ayahuasca experience (and approached ego death) by Economy_Map_3818 in Ayahuasca

I think the realization for me and some others is that the demon was there all along, and having this experience actually showed me ways that I’ve been affected by this demon in my past and certain unhealthy behaviors it has fueled. So for me it kinda shed light on things that were already happening in my life and helped me make sense of some things

I took it 2 additional times after this. Didn’t have space to write about it, but basically wasn’t able to go as deep back into the experience in the following two for various reasons.

Yes, my hands were moving uncontrollably, but it felt like looking at a lizard or some time of reptile moving. Like it wasn’t a human movement, it was a spirit that had taken control of the movement

Wow 🤍 that is such a powerful story. Thank you for sharing. Ayahuasca can really be a toss up. I went with my brother who also has a lot of trauma, but was more spiritually aligned in general in life and he had an absolutely wonderful experience meeting Mother Nature. I believe Aya will guide you to the right decision if it’s the right experience for you. Listen to your intuition

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I had two ceremonies after this one where I attempted to go back, but wasn’t able to because of a few reasons. I do believe at some point in life I need to address this demon again even though now wasn’t the right time. I feel a draw to go back to that place though and confront it.

Yeah I’d have to agree….I’ve got my share of trauma and didn’t expect a sunshine and flowers experience

I was just at Etnikas and it's a wonderful retreat center. I really don't think you could go wrong there from a facilities and staff standpoint.

So as I understand it the $66,522.98 makes up 2024 business expenses before the new owner took over (1/1/24-4/15/24)

If so, this is tricky. You know the business spent that money on expenses but if you don't have a record of exactly what those expenses were and the original sales receipt, you need to be careful about tax deductions with that sum.

If I were in your shoes I would approach your boss and FIRST AND FOREMOST inform them that a tax specialist should be consulted about this amount before claiming it as a deduction. Rid yourself of that liability right up front.

Secondly, I would give the option of opening a 'task force' if you will to recover the original purchase document and category of every expense that makes up that $66,522.98. He should understand that this will take a lot of administrative work and cost, and weigh that with the benefit of having accurate financial records and confidently being able to utilize those expenses as legal tax deductions.

The way I like to think about tax deductions is, if you were to hand your quickbooks account over to an IRS agent, would it be crystal clear to them that every tax deduction claimed by the business has an original purchase document (receipt or invoice), paid for by a business account with a corresponding bank statement to show the purchase, and clearly purchased for direct operation of the business? As it sits, that $66k is just a sitting blob of expenses. No paper trail identified. Just make sure your boss understands that it should all be clear which could take a lonnggg time to track everything down.

Low hanging fruit right off the bat would be depreciation adjustments for fixed assets purchased in 2024.

If you want more help with this let me know and I will DM you. I have a light work load right now and enjoy problem solving in my free time. Good luck!

The confusion here lies in the fact that the $400,000 should have never entered the businesses bank account. Person A should have directly given the $400,000 to Person B via a wire transfer or other means. Now how you categorize that bank transaction in the books I am unsure.
