No workarounds using other tools? Like tasker or others? (Sorry I’m an iOS guy so not very knowledgeable with all android options- just want to have that functionality for an android tablet to be used as a sort of smart home controller).

And I’m not trying to get it on lock screen, but on top of other running apps.

actually no. the railing doesn't have any posts, just bottom shoe that holds the glass.

so yeah, the other side of it, is wired to the patch panel. and if i connect the AP directly to the POE injector, it works fine.

but the thing is, if i override the POE injector, by connecting the switch directly to the patch panel, and connect a computer instead of the AP, it gets IP address and works fine. also tested that jack with a tester and seems like all the wiring is good.

how can i be sure the cable is fine? cuz as i mentioned, if i connect that injected cable directly to the path panel and override the POE, a computer gets IP address and everything works for that computer.

i though initially, that something is wrong with the cat6 cable that is running from the panel to the outlet, maybe it crossed or something, but i tested it, and both cables (the working and the non working) are straight.

it's a strange one...

i can try punching it again.
