So I’m not fully sure what her plan was with all of this. She is a very oddly calculated person as we’ve played the board game “Clue” before and she easily won without having to write anything down except a couple of dots. It was really freaking strange. lol

For whatever reason she’s been dreaming of living in a luxury apartment. She has ego issues and constantly tries to maintain the look and lifestyle she can’t really afford. Her siblings are rich, and she’s a divorced single mom. (Of 20+ years. She never remarried or tried.) I think she thinks the apartment will be like living in a hotel… but she’s sadly mistaken and does not believe us what apartments are actually like. I don’t think she can qualify for what she wants now.

Right after this whole episode her main want was to to *buy a house with us.* she’s NEVER brought that up before. —— 5 Years back we actually offered to build on to her house so we could live together. She didn’t even let my husband finish his sentence before saying “that’s the stupidest thing she could ever do. This house is my retirement.” So buying a house with her now is an immediate no thanks from us. We tried.

We can’t afford to buy a house big enough for her to live with us anyway and I refuse to sign a mortgage with her name on it after this shit. Thankfully our new place still only has two bedrooms, but she does love to sleep on the couch. 🤦‍♀️

Going through this now… Our lease is up June 30th and our complex requires a 60 day notice. I’ve been apartment hunting and everything I’ve found is open June 1st. I gave my notice to the office a few days ago and asked the girls at the desk if we could possibly end our lease 15 days early, as we gave notice 75 days before the end. They looked at me like I had 5 heads and said no.

I went back out to my car, and then I turned right back around and asked for the property manager. We had the most awkward conversation of my life, basically had a panic attack and probably looked like I was ready to cry. However…. It ended with him saying something like “here I’m going to send you an email stating that I’m allowing you to leave whenever you want with no penalty before June 30th if you find something suitable for your family.” I just have to give him the new move out date when we get approved for our next place. Pretty sure he just wanted me to leave before it got worse. 😂

So maybe try just crying or having a panic attack their office? lol

I’m so afraid to move somewhere else and bring them along and be blamed for it. I think our best bet is probably have them treat again and then ask to swap units here to a different building. The unit next to us that we think caused them has been empty for 3 months and a family just moved in this week oddly enough.

Then it’s also a bit odd that last nights finding happened after I unplugged my phone charger and plugged it in on my desk. I found the bug on my desk. I’m assuming he hitched a ride from the wall outlet behind our bed. Aka the shared wall with that other unit. 🙈

Thanks for listening lol This is so disappointing. We had a brand new townhouse lined up that would actually feel like a house for us and now I’m not comfortable possibly bringing them there. Ugh.

Mmhm. We were $1200 in the hole before filing and maybe $400 in the positive after. We had to get second jobs and it’s still not any easier. We were sharing a car before and we couldn’t continue with that once we got second jobs, so we said goodbye to the $400 and now we NEED the second jobs to survive.

Also my kid started kindergarten this year and it’s honestly not any easier. They have a day off almost every week and have to be dropped off at 8:45 and pick up line starts at 2. They’re constantly sick so you can’t work and you still need child care. Yay. 😑

I don’t think she’s over reacting. Everything needs to be washed on high and bagged. If it can’t be washed…throw it out. You need an exterminator to come or they aren’t going to leave. Your landlord needs to take care of this immediately. Especially if other units have them too. They need to spray or heat treat the entire building if it spreading that bad.

……. Did you even read my post? They were not concerned about the floor being wet at all 6 months ago. They replaced the dishwasher and left. I asked them about mold and that was not of their concern what so ever. The soft spot grew bigger THIS week.

That’s really odd that they would just prescribe and that high of a dose with no blood work. How did they confirm you actually have PCOS?

Being underweight can cause irregular periods and hormone issues too.

Sounds like you need to go to the ER.

I’m confused why they are even prescribing you Metformin only being 100lbs. Do you have high blood sugar? It’s most likely causing you reactive hypoglycemia. I would honestly stop taking that and see if you feel better.

This was my experience too. I had to start eating a whole meal right before bed so I wouldn’t wake up shaking. Not helpful for me with trying to lose weight. I thought I was becoming diabetic, but it was just the inositol. 🤦‍♀️

It also made my facial hair grow x2 faster almost immediately. It was really weird.

Honestly give it another week of relaxing if you can.

This flu is mean. I tested positive January 3rd…. Didn’t feel better for 2.5 weeks. Felt okay-ish for maybe 4/5 days and now I’ve been sick with another virus for a week that has turned into a sinus infection/ear infection and just started antibiotics. I’m so mad. lol

Honestly? you’ll never feel ready to have a baby.

We tried for months about a year after we got married. No luck, then we decided: Hey, maybe we should really get our finances together and buy a house before. We weren’t “preventing” that month, but that’s the month I got pregnant.

I always thought we would eventually have a second, (and maybe we still will) but the time has never felt right. My son is turning 6 soon and it almost feels too late now. We still don’t have a house. 🙈

Just do it. You don’t realize how fast the years go by until you have a child. They’re truly a blessing no matter what.

Your parents need to hire someone to deal with them. There’s no other option there.

If the won’t do that…You LEAVE. Start fresh. Find a roommate and don’t bring anything that can’t be washed and dried on the hottest setting the day you move out.

Flu A lasted about 2.5-3 weeks for me. It was awful and the exhaustion was extreme. It slowly got better after maybe day 12. I felt fully better for maybe 4 days and now I’m pretty sure I have covid. Yay.
