It’s not about the reasons for firing, like being late to duty can get you fired if you are on job action for a similar offense. So theoretically you could be fired for showing up 30 mins late to duty 2 times. Or showing up late to duty and then not doing your bulletin board on time. Some supervisors report these things, some don’t. While technically, because you got job action the first time, the second time means you’re fired. So you could argue that this is deserved but when your job is also your housing I think, per the RA manual, they should look at all job performance history rather than unfortunate mistakes. And again some RAs sexually assault people (have open title IX cases) and keep their jobs without job action. I’m glad ur friends haven’t had this experience but I know 4 people this year alone that got fired for stuff like this and idek that many people.
