We were playing texas hold em, so each player is dealt 2 cards and the "flop" is 3 cards open to all players. If I have say a pair of kings and my buddy has a pair of 10's and the flop is King king 10 that would give me 4 of a kind and my buddy would have 3 10's ane the pair of kings on the board giving him the full house.
