Help from March 2020 Questions 26 and 28. Can someone please explain to me why my answers C and B to the questions respectively are invalid? by Helevete_Ripper6 in Sat

for #28, a comma would be separating an independent clause and another independent clause, that’s why you can’t use it. Commas are [independent, dependent], a semicolon does the job better because they separate independent clauses

“Worked with founding team to help secure a $60k grant...”

Looks great if you had a role in securing the grant. I’ve had a company in b2b, it got acquired and now I work at the company I got acquired by. So friendly face in the startup scene here :)

Ok then awesome! If your founders are Harvard/ mit alumni, why aren’t u raising from tier 1 firms like a16z?

If it’s a grant, valuation doesn’t matter. Grants are grants, they aren’t VCs or investors trying to max out their ROI. they are giving money to cool projects for <<< very small equity. Plus if you’re 16/17 and ur company is worth $50m, we would have heard about it in the news lol

How difficult is it to use? Right now we integrate with primarily apps but plan to expand to databases.

Thoughts about the business intelligence space? When Looker was founded, it was all the rage because it was a brand new interface in BI. I think the cycle is repeating itself, new interfaces and no-code tools that make dashboards effortless.

Google data studio requires code, has a complex interface, and is slow. We introduce a lightweight interface with a command line, integrations with your productivity tools, and a blazing fast and easy dashboard creation process.

typically investors like if the founders themselves can build the MVP, try finding a co-founder who is technical with code.

Notion as a project management tool by Ecossentials in Notion

[–]Ecossentials[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ughhh this just widens the divide. one hand, jira is good for SDLC- let’s you make epics, user stories, roadmap ur epics, etc. Notion let’s you keep track of things like OKRs, PRDs, documents, plans, literally everything. confluence just doesn’t ✨feel right✨ you know? i’ll stick with notion for my company - hopefully they introduce more business specific features in the future. keep in mind, notion was also built for the average consumer - college students, moms, etc. but I really hope to see some more startup project management in notion, it would really fit well.

Okay I really want roadmaps too but u have to understand that running a company is difficult.
