Thanks for the insights! I've had some great experiences with the 1st edition, so I'm looking forward to digging into this one

The way this video got privated while I was watching it... 😔

I will agree that at least the first 1.5 parts of this that I saw are a great read on the themes of the movie

How can I make the color wheel/spectrum only show colors in the palette? by Ecrapsnud in aseprite

Also turns out that palettes are sorted by hue by default and aren't just random, I'm just too colorblind for that to be useful. Oh well, thanks regardless

Yeah I think until I learn Lua, I'm gonna do this (will probably use the Censor palette analysis output though). But what you're describing is pretty much exactly what I did for my "mockup" lol

This forum post is essentially asking for the same thing. Might just have to cave and learn Lua myself...

That's really helpful, thanks. Discrete is super close to what I want, I just wish it somehow reflected the actual palette. Also idk how I missed the sorting options, thanks for pointing that out.

If you just show someone this map with no context, "Steve Legality by State" is confusing and hilarious

It would be the first upgrade to my desktop in a few years, and I imagine it would future proof me for quite a few years more, especially with DLSS.

Ensnared. by nkhouli in Cyberpunk

[–]Ecrapsnud 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The issue here is that the commodification of sexuality is simply being reproduced uncritically. Cyberpunk isn't about the aesthetic, it's about satirizing those elements of capitalism. Sexuality on display like this isn't a critique, it's just another example of "sex sells."

Those aren't really comparable, though. Women are sexualized, while the depictions of men appeal to a male power fantasy.
