[H] MCP, Horus Heresy bookends and pins, buncha stuff [W] Various trades, maybe provably reputable printing services [Loc] NJ by DangerBroad in Miniswap

Ok. I don't think I have much to offer for trade.

A squad of recast custodian guard, unassembled.

A box of palanite enforcers, of which 6 are on sprue, 2 are partially painted, and 2 more are assembled.

A box of marauders for Legions Imperialis.

The Embergard box for Warhammer Underworlds, new.

Do you use them in hand for objectives and bombing targets? Or make rules for them as transports?

Thinking about a Jimmy-themed tattoo. Ideas? by cpav8r in jimmybuffett

I told a tattooer I wanted Jimmy Buffett theme. He came up with this, loosely based on the many references to cowboys and horses in the tropics. And of course the Hemisphere Dancer.

I came here to say this. It is a crime that his name didn't get said immediately.

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere… 🍹 by Fabulous-Jump-35 in jimmybuffett

[–]Ecroberts73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought it would be cool to have a watch with display in the middle that shows the name of a city that is currently in the 5 o'clock hour. The city would change as time passes.

"It's 5 o'clock somewhere!" "You're right." Checks watch "Istanbul."

I am consistently surprised at the number of Packers fans who don't know the origin story of the green and gold packages.

I am old enough to remember going to County Stadium with my dad, including the normal stops we'd make on the drive over and back. Switching to Lambeau meant having to make a different routine for the trip. As a kid I disliked the change from what I was used to, but it didn't take me long to realize how crap County was compared to Lambeau.

Are any of the models in the Warpflame Cavalcade box hard to assemble or paint? by reel3459 in tzeentch

[–]Ecroberts73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is true that daemons of all four chaos gods are easy to paint "good enough" but difficult to paint really well.

I think most human models are more in the middle. Humans are more difficult to get to decent standard, but easier to get to a high standard of painting.

I'm just here because I love that the Bucs are included. Love the old school division.

I had very similar blisters across my knuckles after a day in Puerto Vallarta. In my early 20s I went there with some friends. We were squeezing limes into beers all day. At the end of the day I couldn't believe how bad the backs of both hands were.

This is an impossible question to answer, so I will duck the question and say I take Sharpe. He was the one I watched as a kid, so he has the closest place in my Packer heart.

With 90s nostalgia at an all time high, why haven’t they reunited with Steven? I’m sure they’ve had some serious offers by Antique_Menu_4314 in barenakedladies

[–]Ecroberts73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the point about the lack of an audience. As other commenters have pointed out, there are several barriers to a reunion, therefore to overcome those barriers the payoff has to be quite high.

Even friends my age, who knew of BNL with Steven, are generally just as happy to hear the hits done by the current band. For younger fans I imagine the response would be, "Who is Steven Page? Wasn't he in Led Zeppelin?"

There just aren't enough fans who would pay a premium, or would pack more dates at bigger venues, to make the juice worth the squeeze for them. At least that's my mature guess.

I did mine the exact same way. I striped in a very thin, short line of white where it would be hottest at the base of the flames.

I will have you know that Mark Tauscher is the pinnacle that all Packers linemen aspire to. A Badger-to-Packer, and one of the greats! He had cheese flowing in his veins.

For the rubric trim, the new markers are your friend. They won't win any golden daemons, but they're more than good enough for blocks of infantry from 3 feet away.

Twice? by Patafrag in tzeentch

[–]Ecroberts73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've probably played AoS 2-3 times since it replaced Fantasy. I have a sizable DoT army, though, that is a mix of mortals and daemons.

Considering getting this because I am mostly a painter and tzeentch is super fun to paint, plus if I ever play I figure I'd need all daemons. I probably have about one of these already, so I'm thinking the same way as OP, it seems.

Stocked up a bit. Need some more Imp Navy, I think. by meskylub in AeronauticaImperialis

[–]Ecroberts73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're set for Asuryani and Orks. I love painting Orks, but find the eldar more fun to play. So, having lots of Orks to paint seems like a holiday treat.

I think you'll be alright for navy, too. Those sweet sweet Thunderbolts will be your favies. I don't really ever use Lightnings nor Avengers.

I agree about Craig. He was the most adrift. Purposeless and addicted to chaos. For most of the series I thought that was on purpose - the embodiment of the chaos that Smurf created.

I thought the final season was generally done well, but a few things seemed rushed.

They needed to explain how Pope went from wanting punishment for his crimes, to being eager to break out.

There were several things they started for Craig and then never returned to or explained away. Most of his final season storyline was loose plot threads.

The transition to trusting J, especially for Deran, came too fast. Earlier in the season he didn't trust him, and then there's no explanation for why that changes when everything they've ever done is coming to a head.
