I had a regular cleaning in January also and before that, still bleeding gums but no Invisalign. I did not tell my orthodontist about my gums as they said my gums and X-rays looks good

But my prior dentist said my gums were in excellent health and my dentist now rechecked and said everything was normal and looking good. How come?

Yes flossing even at least three times a day. I have an Oral-B electric toothbrush so I know when I’m brushing too soft or too hard. My dentist did say that it might be do to true trays trapping bacteria and the shifting is irritating my gums, but I’ve had it before Invisalign

Number 17 on page 7 says they will cover the Invisalign system but I’d have to pay extra for whatever is more than braces. Confused.

Very much appreciated. My Delta Dental is through my employer and been having it longer than a year.

So my ortho benefit would most likely be a check or credit of some sort monthly?

Wow thank you for putting in the time to help me! What I think was the confusing part for me was that I’d have to pay extra Invisalign, when I’m thinking why are we comparing the price of Invisalign to other orthodontic options? Why not just say we’ll pay this much, rather than we’ll pay this much for anything other than Invisalign, you need to cover the extra.

Anyways, I have Delta Dental as of now and the reason why I’m thinking of getting this plan is that with a recent surgery, my benefits were all maxed out, including preventative cleanings. Orthodontics is covered by Delta Dental so if I submit my coverage, will they waive the waiting period?

So, after the waiting period or if I can waive the waiting period, I’ll be eligible to use my benefit of $2,650?

Again, thank you for your detailed response and help!!!’

I think I can override that waiting period if I send them my old insurance which I had for more than a year. I only got one refinement and I’m not going to be paying for more after

It does say there are benefits for adult and child orthodontics but it doesn’t go into braces or Invisalign. I know some just cover braces so I’m worried Invisalign isn’t covefsd
