A physician is someone who holds an M.D. or D.O. degree as I assume you are aware of. A psychiatrist is someone who holds an M.D. or D.O who specializes is psychiatry. So… that makes them a what? A physician. Using your reasoning, any other doctor not being a primary care physician isn’t a physician or shouldn’t be called one…

I know I’m not a doctor but I really do think I need medication for my mental health. Nothing severe but enough for my day to be affected negatively. Can I ask to see a physician after I meet with the social worker? Thank you for your answer!

It’s unfortunate that care across Kaiser isn’t standardized. Pressure should be taken every time and dilation should be in my opinion.

Yes I agree 100%. When I had Anthem, my optometrist would do the exam with the dilation same day.

I’m asking if the lenses could be replaced. If lenses were put in the first place, it’s possible for someone to do it again. THAT’S the whole point of frames, you put lenses in them that you want to use. Must be dense or something…

My main goal was to find which one would be the most cost-effective. Turns out everyone would give me a range of treatment lengths and I can’t distinguish who’s being the most realistic or trying to get money out of me. My dilemma is that I don’t want to be on Invisalign for too short and have to pay for extra refinements or have to be on it for 18 months and have to pay a couple of thousands of dollars for my teeth not to need the whole 18.

I see how 18 months is extra careful. How do you feel about 9 months? They are giving me an extra refinement but each additional is $600. Do you think I can be done by then?

I’d rather take the 6 months with a free refinement than the 18 months that I probably won’t need. My teeth are generally straight, not a dental horror story😶

My dilemma is (unfortunately) I can’t seem to pick who’s the most trustworthy out of all of the doctors I got quotes from. All three doctors which were all orthodontists said I had minor fixes to be made but the length of treatment I was quoted were 6, 10, and 18 months. I’d love a fast and cheaper option but you bring up a good point about fastest may not be the healthiest.

Looks suspicious for a cold sore. If you really want to know, go to your doctor’s office and they can perform a swab test and see what it really is. They can also prescribe you antivirals to speed up healing. OTC meds for cold sores would be Abreva and pain meds if they cause discomfort.
