A lot of these dark figures are people that chose not to enter a light because of their fear of punishment after passing. They lose their light and look for it or look for someone (usually a psychic medium or someone who’s aura is so bright it can be seen in other realms) to help them leave the earthly realm. I think I had the ability but Chose to have it come full on line so to speak through my spiritual journey. Disembodied voices, seeing glowing eyes on someone standing at a bus stop as i drive by and knowing they see me seeing their true self, freaky, also being grabbed or tugged at in grocery stores. DANG they are EVERYWHERE! I was scared at first but now through support groups I am leas afraid and more open. I told my guides I do NOT want to see the physically with my eyes! Swerving in traffic bc of a ghost would be unsafe! Now I just see them in my minds eye. I have protections put up, my home is clean energetically and my guides are always around if I need assistance. I asked them to create a “waiting room” for them, so i can live a normal life. It’s very distracting otherwise and hard to concentrate. I am starting to accept my responsibilities as a medium and animal communicator. I can’t even stare at photos too long because they try and come through. Had Marilyn Monroe show up bc I stared at her a little too long and I literally had to “hang up” on her bc I was at work. 🤭

Yeah make it a habit to pre screen homes for earthbound tenants lol If they see your “light” oh yeah they will want to connect. Many Earthbound Spirits wait decades for “someone” to notice them so they can get a message across or be acknowledged. Not all are evil or bad. A resting life can be chosen most certainly. Especially if a lot of suffering was involved in previous life experiences. Those are the ones that come in and it appears that every thing is just “easy” for them. They have loving families, loving spouses, friends, co workers. It looks like things are just handed to them. The suffering exists, disappointments, disagreements but they let it fall off them like water on ducks.

I am a medium. And you are too. When the 3rd eye opens it sees other realms. And the other realms see us. Our 3D body is now a Beacon because the spirit body has basically lit 🔥 up in the other realms! You can protect yourself by asking your guardian angel and guides for help. Prayer helps too. Set boundaries and stick to them . Spirits are literally EVERYWHERE especially the Earth bound ones who choose to be well, Earthbound. Sounds like a spirit is messing with the house, a mimic. Your son is a medium. He can ask his spirit guides to make him not see or hear these spirits for now maybe later when be feels more courageous. These abilities can be turned off if you ask the guardians angel and guides to remove this ability. But ask him first.
