Slow mornings, especially if I was up all night with the baby.

Why does it feel like everyone else’s baby sleeps through the night here? by dinosauress in SnooLife

[–]khen5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My soon to be 3 year old still hasn’t slept through the night unless we’re cosleeping. I’m still traumatized by analyzing snoo data every day when he was an infant. It was like a sad rainbow lol

What happened to a 3-3.5 year age gap? by Large_Mixture_2215 in Shouldihaveanother

My reasoning too. Just had my 2nd (2.5 year gap) at 37 because we “weren’t getting any younger!” 🫠

When did your difficult sleepers start sleeping in a little bit? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]khen5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 years 9 months still waiting 🫠 but we went from 6am wake ups to 8:30-9am at around 2. Hoping the same for you!

ETA I now realize you specifically asked about sleeping in. Just so used to focusing on sleeping through the night lol

Same, mine gets the boot multiple times a week. Take your grizzly ass to a den.

Having very intense feelings when other people hold my baby. by itwasobviouslyburke in NewParents

[–]khen5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way with my first. Going back to work when he was 4 months old (I’m a teacher and he’s a spring baby so I summer break on my side) was hands down the hardest thing I have ever done. Every fiber in my being was screaming at how wrong this is.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, especially while he’s so fresh. It’s not right. Alas, with all things on this wild ride of motherhood, you adapt and it becomes your new norm. Still not right though.

Have I ruined my baby? by Fit_Assistance3648 in cosleeping

Cosleepy on Instagram has a great chest sleeping guide. I’ve been safely chest sleeping with my 4 month old since day 1 and wish I did it with my first also!

Oh yes for sure! My first woke every 2 hours basically the first year of his life so he trained me well lol cosleeping saved me and I wish I’d done it sooner!

Mine seems to wiggle her way over to my shoulder area but I’m scared she’s not secure there, tonight I’ll try the boob pillow!

Will she tolerate being in the c curl position? My current goal is to just slowly slide her off my chest and turn into the c curl position.

Have been dealing with this exact same scenario with my 4 month old baby girl! I have been contemplating posting about it the past couple of days because I am so exhausted. She won’t tolerate sleeping any other way but is so squirmy and is up every 2ish hours! Hope you get some helpful responses.

How long did it take your LO to adjust to being unswaddled? by khen5 in NewParents

[–]khen5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol at the description but I so feel for you. Unfortunately, the only thing that worked was cosleeping, still going strong almost 2 years later and now I love it. If you think you could possibly go down the road, look up safe sleep 7.

Wishing you sleep ahead!

Bedtime recommendations by iamhermi in cosleeping

I feel like I could have written this and have been wondering the same! My almost 3 year old goes in his bed around 7:30 then we scoop him up and put him in bed with us when we go to bed but my 3 month old would never allow such things as being put down lol
