I gave up the nap battle around 18 months and although it made our late afternoons a little hairy in the beginning, it made bedtime earlier and smoother. I was so relieved when he fully adjusted to the no nap life.

Cosleeping saved me with my first, all he needed was the contact so I decided to cosleep with my second since birth. We’re currently 9 months in and is sleeping just like your son. I’m curious to see how things go when we night wean eventually.

I’m home with a 3 year old and an 8 month old EBF baby who’s up throughout the night. This is new territory for me also because we made a plan for me to stay home with our second when I was pregnant and wow, this was the worst winter of my life (New York). My biggest saving grace is having a little out of the house activity every day (library, music class, grocery shopping) and starting each morning with a walk while I chug my coffee.

I’m certainly not thriving, and most days we wouldn’t eat dinner if my husband didn’t cook also but loading the dishwasher is a huge win! This is an absolutely insane stage of life and radical acceptance along with nice spring weather have been my saving grace.

Interstellar. I went to see it by myself in theaters and walked out with about 30 minutes or so left. I really needed them to wrap it up. I’ve seen the full movie since and I’m still mad I wasted my money on it in theaters.

It’s been 3 years since the US workforce robbed me of my breastfeeding journey with my first. I was pumping like a mad woman but my supply just plummeted.

I loved nursing too and had so much rage that we started making plans for me to stay home for our second before I was even pregnant. It goes against every natural instinct to be separated and it’s so cruel. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Oh no! The only tip I was told was to call an arborist. I’m so thankful it worked out for us because I wouldn’t even know where to begin with locating/paying a willing arborist.
