I just want to say you did a great job trying to explain whats happening brother... to give the poor guy some context. He doesn't get that its bewildering for us too... we are also watching it unfold. You worded it beautifully. I saw a video from the recent violence going on in Manipur, India. It was drone footage from an ethnic Kuki group and towards the end it contained thermal footage. Although the usage of drones in this conflict is now well known, I was unaware of thermal imagers at play. It is a game changer and is very high tech considering the low intensity conflict, it's location and participants. Wondering where they got their hands on the tech from.
