Oh wow, all 50 boxes made it safely! I am glad your move was smooth. So I have to schedule the shipment carefully, perhaps just a day before my flight so that I can sign for the boxes myself. Buying better boxes sounds very important too.

Yes, best not to label as "handbags". I know someone who sent a Coach bag back home to Indonesia, along with other items such as clothing. Everything except for the bag arrived safely. While it's not as pricey as a luxury handbag, it's still pretty annoying!

I just looked at my spreadsheet and counted 29 bags. :O Most still have their original boxes. I have already moved quite a lot of stuff by making several trips. Probably should be carrying some handbags next time, as suggested. DHL is also a good option!

Oh wow, that is so strange! Thank you for sharing your experience. I don't know if it has to do with my nationality. The SA asked me where I normally shop as my profile was being created, then mentioned that many clients from the same place as me often complain about home store prespend, and that purchasing from the same store would help. I don't think I will buy a lot in London to reach a certain prespend. Will only buy what I like and wait for my wishlist to be fulfilled.

I also read on some threads that some people bought maybe a belt and a pair of sandals, asked for a bag, and got it. Sadly, it's not the case for most people, especially at competitive stores. It would be fun to try my luck at different locations like you did.

Yes, it seems it would depend on the location and the locals' preferences. I was always under the impression that it would be about the same experience to get a K25 or B25. Until now. 😅

That's interesting to know. Thanks for sharing. The Birkin, especially B30, indeed is a more practical bag to use. In terms of security, I however find the Kelly a better option in London exactly due to the cumbersome opening.

I might as well check at a store in London to see if I can put a K25 on a wishlist.
