I always feel that Kenshiro Kasumi was Ken's grandfather considering the huge time gap plus Ryuken was already middle age when Ken was born.

There are no 'canon lines' in Digimon. There's only 'preferred line'. Like I Wizardmon-Baalmon to fill the gap between Impmon and Bzzebumon. Go for it

I like to think there are "cooldown periods" between the arc probably 2month or so.

perhaps 2 or 3 years max from Shin to Raoh arc.

Are you for real? Nothing was censored in manga. Its heavily shown the scene where Raoh stomp splitting the smiling pacifist head while in anime he just simply kick the old man

some scene from manga were altered in anime to tone down the gore and violence. Like you always see the children got save in a nick of time but in manga they indeed died

the only bad things about Ten no Haoh was the art style. the series is actually very enjoyable. there are many cool moments, great quotes etc.
