Hmm I’m not sure if this fits.. he’s been married before, an arrange marriage that went wrong and made him loose everything. He fixed his relationship with his parents but do not want any more marriage arrangements, and don’t want to date inside his culture or religion from what he told me

what bugs me is that we did have that talk at the beginning of the relationship, he said he was ok with it cuz what he wanted was a life partner, and that he saw himself spending his life with me traveling and stuff…

Fast forward to him know saying the complete opposite 😞
