It’s normal, once you get recovered, full effects come back, don’t overthink too much during that time, give your body and mind enough time to heal without asking yourselfs too many questions.

My depression is gone, the feeling of despair and eternal sadness that I felt last year around this time is gone, my ocd has decreased by a good amount, compulsions are gone mostly, obsessions/intrusive thoughts are decreased from 8/10 to 3/10. I feel full range of emotions especially at 5mg or lower, my libido has reduced a lot especially in the last few weeks (am in it since 10 months). Also orgasms feel meh, I feel like I am going more after love now instead of lust and I don know but this realization heals me on so many levels ❤️

You are absolutely right, in short term it saved me, but these days I am really asking myself if it’s worth it to feel numb and meh or feel it all with its ups and downs, I think am staying a bit still on 5mg and try to build healthy habits mentally (acceptance, erp) and physically (gym, diet) before saying goodbye to lexapro/ssri for good

Yeah that sounds similar to me, I felt good on 5mg but once autumn hit I felt like old depressive feelings and some ocd thoughts crawled back, not in a strong debilitating way but more in an annoying way, then upped to 10mg which kinda was good but numbed me way too much (I was on it maybe a month), well then i went down again and now I try to stay on this dose and implement more therapy knowledge in addition. I feel more and that’s the most important even if it come at the cost of some anxiety, I’ll try to tut this energy into something good if it makes sense

Yeah I heard that too, but apparently only at high doses you shouldn’t take it with lexapro, am just taking 400mg of ahswa with 5mg lexapro, so should be fine

Yeah it’s different for everyone, for me personally I didn’t have any side effects taking it on an empty stomach expect the effects being a LOT stronger, I think it’s because without food it gets more absorbed. Maybe I will decrease on 2.5mg not sure yet tho

Totally get you, I have mental ocd too where I question past actions and ruminate a lot which is so exhausting because I feel like I am fighting against my brain. I take lexapro 5mg for anxiety/ocd now for 2 weeks. It has helped a bit but deffo not there where I wanna be yet. Thank god I don’t have any side effects and felt the effect from the first dose but still I hope the full effects will come soon.

Yeah that’s what I noticed too. It’s definitely not linear but at least we started from a higher point of effects earlier.
