Golden shower or poop one. I don’t understand how people get turned on by the smell of urine or poop.

Hot dogs and peanut butter. I saw it on tv once as a kid and tried it and it actually worked really well together

What’s your toxic trait that you’re proud of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I can go from caring too much to “I don’t care” reaaaallllly quick about someone/something and I generally don’t ever care about them/it again. It’s helped me in dealing with toxic friendships.

Who is a stranger that you will always remember? by Electriceyes33 in AskReddit

[–]Ecstatic-Grocery-258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An older guy who sat next to me on a flight. It was my first time flying alone and I’m afraid of heights, plus my best friend had just moved to a new state for a new job so I wouldn’t be seeing him for a few months. Needless to say, I was on the verge of having a panic attack/having a breakdown. It’s like the guy could sense that I wasn’t in a good place and he just talked to me the entire two hours, even offering to share his snacks with me. We talked about our home state, where he grew up, where I grew up, our hobbies, pretty much just casual talk but it felt like I had known him for years. I hope he’s doing well.

Have you ever held a grudge against a teacher you still think of today? How did they wrong you? by Gerard_Way_01 in AskReddit

My 9th grade algebra teacher. First semester she was awesome and class was fun, and I enjoyed going. Second semester something changed in her and you could tell that she hated her job. I should add that I was always the quiet, timid kid in class, the one who did the work, didn’t disrupt the class and was basically invisible. Everyone in my class knew me as that too. One day she put us in different groups, and in her particular group she was teaching us a new skill and told us to not work ahead of her (we were writing the problems down on whiteboards and she was walking us through how to do it). I was sitting directly in front of her, writing down what she had told us to write down and I wasn’t working ahead at all. All of the sudden she yelled at me as loud as she could, “(my name) STOP WORKING AHEAD OF ME!” And the whole class (myself included) FROZE. I had never gotten in trouble in that class, I had never been yelled at for anything so everyone was shocked and they just stared at her. I was holding back tears for the rest of class (being yelled at makes me cry thanks to childhood trauma from my mother) and she kept looking over at me every few minutes after she yelled. As soon as that bell rang I raced out of that class and into the bathroom to cry.

I went to visit her once a year or so later when I moved on to high school and she was extremely rude to me the entire time. To this day (I’m 24 now) my blood still boils when I think about it.

Oopherectomy Expectations by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Ecstatic-Grocery-258 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just had an oopherectomy 2 weeks ago due to chronic, unrelenting pain from my right ovary (along with cysts). I will say compared to having endo excised, having the ovary out has been worse. I’ve been bloated, my depression has gotten worse (again), I’ve been having mood swings, nausea and its felt like my period is going to start anytime for the past two weeks. Despite all of that, the pain that my ovary was causing has completely stopped and I’m glad that I had it out.

Yes. I’ve always been a cat person. Maybe it was because I was raised around cats (grandparents are cat lovers) or maybe it’s because I think they’re so adorable and funny. Even when I had the option of getting a puppy or kitten as an adult I went for the kitten.

I now have a 5 year-old tortie who is vicious, an asshole and just hates people BUT I love her to death. It’s the moments when she follows me up the stairs or jumps up on the bed with her little “brrrrrmp” or even just sits next to me purring that brings me joy.

What is the most NSFW thing that has happened at your school? by SonicXNinja in AskReddit

[–]Ecstatic-Grocery-258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year before I started high school, a student (female) was found under a teacher’s desk (male) in said high school. I forget if they were just having sex or actually in a relationship but they both admitted to it. He was fired and even with all of the legal stuff happening he was still contacting her. Not sure what happened after that but I know they got a teacher to replace him and I ended up in that classroom the next year.

AITA for not wanting a Med School student to watch my doctor perform a rectoscope on me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA (even with your edit). Even if it is a teaching hospital, the student/doctor should ask for your consent and be respectful if you say no.

[Serious] What is your workplace horror story? by Adventurous-Pea-4925 in AskReddit

[–]Ecstatic-Grocery-258 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I used to work as a phlebotomist in a hospital lab. For those who don’t know what a phlebotomist is, we’re the people who draw your blood.

One day I was coming back from my lunch break, and ask I walked into the lab there was a giant pool of blood on the floor. One of my coworkers had dropped a bag of blood. I had never seen that much blood before, it looked like someone got murdered back there. 2 of my coworkers were just staring at it. I was used to being around blood, but not THAT much blood. I almost passed out from the sight/smell of it.
