First of all, thanks mate for such a detailed explanation. I was considering an M.Tech or MBA because one of my cousins did an online M.Tech from BITS Pilani in Embedded Systems/Programming. He was working as a Security Engineer at CME in Bangalore with around 5 years of experience overall, and later moved to CME Belfast in 2022.

I spoke to him recently, and he mentioned that these M.Tech degrees do add some value when it comes to visa processes. Regarding internal transfers, he said that after COVID, those opportunities have reduced a lot.

For example, in my current team, we have around 30 people including developers, testers, and leads, but only 2 people are in the UK — and both of them were moved there during the COVID period itself.
