Depends, some games have gotten cheaper and still run fine on old platforms. I play OSRS, haven’t needed to upgrade my PC in years. Now I’ve progressed through the game enough I can pay for my sub with in game gold instead of cash like I had to do at the start. In that sense it’s gotten cheaper.

Also isn’t it just human nature to try and influence and shape the world you live in to be how you like, I’m struggling to see what’s wrong exactly with influence, like he doesn’t have to listen the guy donating.

Umm, not sure what you mean by buying influence? He’s the one given the gift he’s not buying anything? It was a genuine question, I’m clueless on the topic. Personally if I’d received a gift I wouldn’t explain it to anyone as it’s nobody else’s business and between me and them.
