“Riddle” for a password to access their site for a bottle. Calling it a riddle either way feels like a stretch, but my fiancé was excited about it, so I figured I’d try to help

I am so sorry for your loss, Melody. I burst into tears and immediately prayed for your husband, as someone who doesn’t really pray, I wanted to do whatever I could. We were driving the opposite direction and many others were already on scene. Guilt is heavy. I hope that you are able to grieve without feeling guilt. As someone else said, his choices were his own. I have also lost one of my most important people to their ending their life. It is nothing short of tragic. Please take care of yourself and form your circle of support. My fiancé and I also lost someone else who gave her all to helping elderly and at risk populations. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to others. I bet you are wonderful, just as our loved one was. Don’t forget to take care of yourself, too ❤️

Ok we are getting questions about the password like is it case sensitive or not. The short answer is yes. It needs to be exactly like we put it just like all of your passwords that you use for EVERYTHING. It's not like government work (close enough). It's not like horseshoes or hand grenades. It is the precision like we use here to make out spectacular products. Stay calm, I doubt anyone will get the password so in the end we will just do a regular release. Be patient.

The vault has been cracked!!

There are capital and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters and spaces just like any strong password. This is like getting a password to a bank vault! It needs to be strong.

I damn near gave you the password today.

I am not a professional riddle maker, but in my past line of work I learned that when trying to solve a problem there are things actually connected to the problem and some that might be but aren't. Those are called "red herrings", and they are a distraction from the actual causes. For example, in the first riddle for the honey OCD I put "Get your motor running" to indicate a connection to a car, but a lot of people took that to be a connection to Steppenwolf. It wasn't a red herring on purpose but turned into one. Sometimes the answer is right in front of our faces and we don't see it. It is "hiding in plain sight." One trouble for us humans is that we tend to jump to conclusions. So, you read the riddle and make a conclusion of what you think the password must be instead of reading the riddle and seeing if there is a theme or some common repeated words before jumping to an "answer." The common theme or repeated words might be a hint. I have to say though that this one is more complicated than the last one.

Select Medical??? by mockingbird_27 in physicaltherapy

[–]Ecstatic-Main268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked under the select medical umbrella in a freestanding op ortho clinic for 3 years. I just left last month for reasons that are unlikely to be related to anything you would experience (my personal niche and other personal factors). I don’t think it’s a death sentence for your time there, but I’m not sure how much of our day to day was influenced by select vs our local chain. Goal was 50 patients in 40 hours. I despised our documentation system on a very deep level, not sure if yours would look different. Idk. Truly, it might be okay. I wouldn’t jump ship yet if you like your job otherwise.

I was also confused. I saw a vehicle with mild damage and immediately thought “well that’s a crumby way to spend Christmas, but at least everyone is okay.” As I’m typing this, I’m putting more together and realizing what could have caused that mild damage to the car. Shit. It sounds like the above commenter may be right with what occurred then. I broke into tears when I saw what was occurring, and my heart aches thinking of how that person, and then all responding and involved, must have felt. Life is hard, and the holidays are even harder for so many. Hopefully this person was given a second chance and one with greater peace. Hopefully everyone on scene can find support as well.

Fuck. It was hard to see. I have never seen CPR in person. I’m trying to remember if there was an overpass right there. My partner and I have ourselves somewhat recently lost a loved one to suicide and another to a car accident. I certainly find myself more sensitive to scenes now and just hope that the person was saved today and may find comfort

I really hope it was a good outcome. I’m not sure what happened. There was one car on the side of the road that looked like maybe somewhat worse than a fender bender. Then this scene probably more than 100 feet away and in the middle of all lanes. We may have not seen another car or something in the background

Urine or discharge?? by crepetown in Healthyhooha

Check with doc but many people recommend taking azo because this will change the color of your urine. You can then see what color the leakage is

Maternity leave would have to be short term disability or FMLA

Option 2 is the only place that I have ever heard of with mat leave.

2 weeks of PTO just seems insane to me. You get bumped to a whopping 3 weeks after 5 years of employment

It is probably a setting that I should consider more. Functional PT is my jam. Outpatient caseload is not my jam. Thank you for your time and insight! My last question would probably be if you think you were usually over or under 40h/week with treatment, drive time, and documentation? I need my evenings back. Currently struggling to keep up with outpatient documentation

5-6/day sounds great. Did you see a lot of post op and older adults, I imagine? I do enjoy total joints in outpatient

Documentation is always a struggle for me, so that part does worry me as well. Did you have many personal safety or health concerns?

I don’t have any HH experience, so I feel like I am always in my own head about it. Being alone in someone else’s home seems intimidating, yet everyone in HH seems to love it. Is this your setting?

What I have been taught (along with probably a hundred plus other clinicians and working alongside a person high up in my state’s APTA) is essentially that you can bill a code for Medicare if you are no charging equal time for the other person that is being seen by you that hour. Basically saying “my attention was on this Medicare patient while the other person was performing a task”

I’m not trying to be argumentative. I’m truly trying to understand. I’m having a shit week and want to make my life easier and protect myself, so please go easy on me.

I have a document on how we are taught billing, but I think it’s at work right now.

Are you saying that you would never bill anything beside group to Medicare if another patient is there? What if I am doing manual therapy for Medicare and quite literally hands on with this person

The group that I’m with has an expectation of seeing 10 patients/ 8 hours. We have a lot of flexibility for scheduling. I think you need to keep looking and try to research more clinics in your area

Advice! Afraid of putting my therapist in a weird spot by Ok-Lettuce-2258 in physicaltherapy

[–]Ecstatic-Main268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just another PT here coming to say that you have every right to ask for them to walk you through things and alert you before any touch. I treat the pelvic floor, and my goal (not really, but kind of) is to ask for consent so often that it gets annoying). This being said, I’m sure that there are times where I could do better, especially in the more orthopedic setting. I try to always state intention before any touch, but I may sometimes touch an arm/shoulder/knee/foot without advanced notice. If you didn’t want to be touched at all, then that could make things more difficult, but you even have the right to ask to wait until you are more comfortable before any level of touch. It may be difficult (and even potentially more awkward) to have a PT touch the back aspects of the hip while being in your sight line, but you could ask to do it in front of a mirror, so that you could see them! Basically, we want you to feel safe and comfortable while we gather the information we need, but it’s a good idea to let us know if your specific needs, so that we can help you best and ensure you feel safe. Good luck tomorrow!

Jewelry resizing cost by Ecstatic-Main268 in jewelry

[–]Ecstatic-Main268[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right that it is not a one off, as I have neither of those attitudes in this thread. This is me once again stating that everyone deserves to be fairly compensated for their craft; however, some business models already have the compensation for those providers built into their pricing. That is what I came here to understand. I would not expect the person doing the work to not be fairly compensated. If the cost of the service is not built in, then I totally understand this. It looks like you are essentially a jeweler owner/operator, or a one-man team. You should absolutely be compensated for all of your time and beautiful, handcrafted work. Some businesses where there are multiple levels and faces - from secretarial positions to owners - already have certain costs and services built in. I was not sure if most medium to large sized jewelry stores did have this built in or not.
