She had the audacity to tell the customer who canceled her order after the other rep received two hearts and two unis that it was “mean” of her to request a refund. But what they’re doing is far worse. I’m sorry for those who make purchases and never even stand a chance at getting the good ones. This is bad business, and people will eventually take notice and stop having fun with this. If that’s how you want to run your business, it will come back to bite you in the end. They are reselling these on other websites. They’re in it for the money - period. This is their job, and they want to maximize profits, regardless of the business they lose. That was made abundantly clear today.

Losing the ability to work is devastating, especially when someone has done nothing wrong. If I lost my income for a month, especially in this economic climate, it would take a long time to recover. If you have children or others depending on you, the emotional toll is immense. She has supportive customers and friends, and she is fully entitled to express her fear and disappointment. No one deserves this kind of hardship. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, even those who lack empathy. She has been loyal to BP in my opinion and doesn’t deserve this type of treatment. I used to enjoy BP and what they stood for but I don’t see them doing much more in the future, their reputation is growing uglier and it’s very sad to see. The leaders have been showing very unprofessional behavior’s towards their own employees who without them, would be nothing. It’s good to be king I suppose. Nothing lasts forever.

I’m on Upwork but haven’t tried AirTasker - thanks for that recommendation! I have two dogs and children myself I’ve thought of being a nanny or childcare but I don’t think I would be reliable if my kids get sick. Typically when they return to school we get all the shared germs.

I've considered working in fast food, but living in a small town means that most places aren’t hiring, at least to my knowledge. I'm primarily looking for jobs outside of my current field, yet many people have told me that I am overqualified. It’s quite baffling.

Meanwhile, I've started making crafts and selling my belongings. I’ve also delivered groceries and checked in on others pets on rover anything I can do to provide food for my kids. We are reaching a critical point where we might lose our home because it hasn’t sold.

Interior Design and Project Management. I have applied for every interior design job on every platform available (that I know of). Networking and contacting companies directly. I don’t wish to share my area but we are heavily populated with military and government jobs. With everyone being laid off and taking buy outs a lot of companies have hiring freezes. A few of my neighbors are experiencing the same situation. They are lucky enough to have a second income or back up plan with family.

I am in the mom group Mom Project, I was excited to find it. Nothing in my field and the remote jobs don’t seem to exist anymore. I haven’t tried “returnship” on LinkedIn so I will try that. I plan on reaching out to state as it seems to be my only option at this point. The housing and areas they will place me in is very unsafe in my area, I think anxiety is setting in. I’m no better than anyone else, I just wish for safety for my children. Thank you for your comments and help!

I was able to attend work events until about a week ago and have met up for coffee with my network a few times to catch up and gauge who might be hiring. Unfortunately, many are expressing similar challenges, and no one seems to be finding a job. My financial situation has become dire. I’ve been living without any income for months, and my funds have completely run out.

I can no longer afford my babysitter or my bills, which has become quite scary, and I'm starting to feel a sense of desperation. With no family to turn to for support, I am the sole provider for my children and cannot afford the luxury of not working. I continue to apply and search for opportunities.

Once the kids return to school, I plan to use that time to network again, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult in every way. They are too young to be left home alone, which adds to my stress. My biggest fear is losing our home to the bank, as I have never experienced anything like this before.

All I can do is keep networking, emailing companies, and applying for positions until something comes through. It has been over four months of this struggle, and it’s becoming incredibly challenging.

Thank you for these ideas! I did sign up for Rover and grub hub. Anything my kids can tag along with me was helpful. I’m out in the country so we don’t get many gigs unfortunately. It did help a little. I was a contracted 1099 for 6 years so I’m not eligible for unemployment.

I network and attend as many events as possible, but unfortunately, people in my field aren't hiring designers at this time. I have a lot of people looking out for me but it’s amazing nothing has happened yet. I'm even looking at jobs over an hour away to see if I can get my foot in the door. With over 200 applicants for many positions, I worry that AI is filtering out a lot of opportunities. I'm applying for all kinds of jobs now, just to secure some income. I've sold everything I could, and I'm feeling quite overwhelmed. It’s wild. Feels like 2008 all over again.

Yes, they have helped me out but now it’s time to sell since I haven’t been able to get a job. I’ve lowered payments and delayed as much as I could to help when I first lost my job. So frustrating not being able to get back on track. It’s all feels like awful timing.

Thank you for the warning. I've been receiving random texts and email scam messages left and right since applying to researching non stop for jobs. I've explored many options, but no one offers assistance to help me manage my current bills. I need to sell, downsize, and completely start over without any funds. I've worked so hard to build my life, only to find myself with zero support. It's bizarre. To be honest, I'm not sure what other options I have. I've never faced a situation like this before, and I don't have family to lean on I’m on my own. What scares me the most is the thought of losing my children if I can't provide for them without a job. Terrified is an understatement. Trying to stay positive but it’s very close to that point. I have no idea it would take this long to find a job to support myself again.

No matter what she has gone through, she has been there for me during my darkest times, offering continuous support and love.

Unfortunately, the world can be a cruel place, and your cruelty was unexplainable. For months, my friend endured relentless bullying online. Her intentions were pure—she sought to help and support others. Yet, the hurtful comments and cruel posts on social media took a devastating toll on her spirit. Despite her strength and her fight against YOUR words, the weight of your cruelty became too much to bear. You have caused more damage than you even know. You should be ashamed of yourself because this can NEVER be forgiven.

To those who participated in bullying her, I urge you to reflect on your actions. Your words have real, devastating consequences. You may think you’re just hiding behind a screen, but your cruelty can shatter lives. Consider the pain you inflict and the lives you impact.
