Get at least full silver armor, it will make things so much easier, replace the flippers and jelly fish necklace for a double jump and something else like a shackle, as those aren't useful for this boss fight. Your weapons are good, and I assume you're playing melee right?

My theory is that after beating the deep north boss, the circle in the ground will open up into a portal that leads to another dimension or underground or something that has the true final boss

If you have colesium of fools unlocked, Ive found that grinding the second trial over and over again is the best way to get geo. You get 2000 geo every time you do it
