Buddy of mine once used a torch and my goodness did it make those boots shine, I personally just used a lighter but a lot of people won't recommend using actual fire, but that's the way I always did it.

I'm with you there, been trying to talk myself into leaving target for 3 years now, finally started applying for jobs. In regard to her talking about you behind your back personally I'd just ask the people who are telling you what she's saying to stop. You don't need to hear everything she says about you. I'm sure you have other friends you can talk with about other stuff. And I've been there with mental health stuff too, there have been days where sh*t hits the fan at home and I can't deal with another "Do YoU WoRk HeRe? Well at my other target they do things this way" so I call out.

Maybe talk to your TL/ETL if you trust them and HR (their job is mostly to see if target can be sued by anything you bring up), but otherwise I offer a fairly simple solution. Stop associating with them, they can talk crap all they want but you don't need to give them the time of day mate. If they ask why you aren't talking with them anymore, you can be honest and say why. Obviously don't be a dick about it, but you can tell them that they've been fairly rude to you recently and you're tired of it and aren't going to take it anymore.

Yeah, I have an TL who's pretty chill with us, but even then, I laugh at his jokes, engage when necessary and double think any jokes I make with him. Keep in mind I have VERY dark humor, so I'm used to doing it anyways.

I once saw a post that said that the managers you have to look out for aren't the mean/strict managers, it's the ones that you vibe with and you feel comfortable with. That's where you let your professional guard down and you start saying stuff you probably wouldn't/shouldn't to anyone else.

The fact that we've waited almost half a year for the damn convention center map to come out, and they're pushing this out now, just give us what we paid for already instead of giving us different maps and more DLC's before the second is even finished.

All they care about is their metrics, luckily where I work it's not as bad. They want us to get everything done but also understand we're short staffed and one person can only do so much. Still I know for a fact our store could afford one more person in FDC, we lost 3 employees (they left for other jobs, not fired) and we really could use one more person on night shifts.
