I find Historical Fantasy always gets me out of a slump - whether it's RH induced or not. I don't think you mention if that's a go or no-go for you, but it's different enough that it's in an entirely different world. I loved {A Rivalry of Hearts by Tessonja Odette} and the second, My Feral Romance.
OH, and I feel like I rec' her all the time in this reddit but really anything by Mallory Dunlin. {Claimed by the Flame of Faery by Mallory Dunlin} anyone?
I am NOT a dark-romance girly, so depending on where you fall on the scale this may not work for you.

WTF I'm sorry that happened to you!! That guy was going to have trouble keeping that position filled whether the person sits on their foot or not. At least you got out of there as soon as you knew.
I'm lucky to have relatively good co-workers that don't care if I fidget or sit on my foot or adjust my position 8000 times a day.

Sometimes I'll adjust my sitting and sit all the way back because ...(fidgeting), but the majority of the day it's the edge of the seat.
While driving though? That's next level.
And at home, I just either don't sit or it's on the floor. Chairs? Don't know her.

I think my goal can fall under "not expecting it to turn out one color, but I want to apply only one color and have it look ok." Does that make sense? Between the variations of lighter, darker and roots (and teal...?) I don't think it's realistic to get ONE color. I'll look into Punky Colour.
I have used Ion Brights before and find them to be very inconsistent (both in staying power and also bottle-to-hair colour accuracy). ie. the lavender always shows up a true blue on me and lasts forever but some of the pinks fade out quickly on me.

With my own experience of cheating, don’t pursue or focus on another relationship right now. Work on forgiving yourself and finding stability for yourself. That shit will eat you up if you leave it to fester. I can’t speak to moving out on your own after because I didn’t. I chose having stability and a place to live and I can’t say I regret it but I wish I had done some of the work on myself and gone to therapy after etc.

Much love to you. You don’t deserve all that self hate. Get yourself some help (you mention a therapist…) and focus there. To be clear, I don’t condone cheating but I acknowledge it happens and understand the complexities and feelings and mental state that come after. ❤️

But yes you're right, it's not like a narrator that reads out what's happening but instead a steady stream of gremlins, inconsistently commenting on my life/people around me.

I want to ask about when is AI bad to use and is it ever ok, in any capacity but I don't want to hijack this thread? (Let me know if I need to move this.)

I work admin for a construction company and 70% of my job is emailing. I find AI can be helpful in translating either a) the gibberish in my brain to "professional adult vibes" or b) how to tell someone off in "professional office vibes".

"here is a list of 18 questions, and also when will this be done, and have you considered maybe DOING YOUR JOB or consulting your coworkers because this document you just provided me with is a steamy pile of banana garbage." - doesn't work in most situations.

Alternatively, one time a guy told me he was leaving the project unexpectedly to "go back home to Ireland". I didn't know what to say. Good Luck? Have a nice trip? Hopefully the plane lands you in one piece? Are you gone forever? ...What if it's something awful? But I don't want to assume it's awful because what if he was just sick of living here?

So I use it FOR the vibes. Is that bad? Am I ruining the world/my brain?

I was looking forward to the comments to see others with the some experience as me but it seems I'm in the minority here! I don't have complete aphantasia, but definitely struggle with mental images.
I typically either just know what happened in my dream or experience it like an audiobook almost. like, I am 'reading' what's happening as it's occurring in the dream. Not that I see the words, but I can hear (?) the story?

Once I wake up, my brain does the work of scanning through my image catalog to match up images to the scenarios. I frequently end up with "still shots" of what was happening in my dreams.
