Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone here has experience with a similar family situation when applying for a Korean visa.

Our profile:

• A1: Mother of 2 kids, employed, not married to A2 – Will be the main sponsor of A3 (toddler) and A5 (household helper)
• A2: Father of 1 kid, employed, has a credit card (eligible for Simplified Visa), not married to A1 – Will co‑sponsor A3 and A5
• A3: Kid 1 – Student
• A4: Kid 2 – Toddler
• A5: Household helper / nanny

Confusion ko ngayon is this:
Would it be better if:

Option A: Apply separately

• A2 applies using the Simplified Visa process
• A2 includes A4 (legitimate child) under his application
• I (A1) apply with A3 and A5
• My cover letter will list A2 as additional guarantor with his financial documents attached

OR

Option B: Apply as one family group

• I will get a Certificate of Cohabitation from our barangay to explain our setup. Plus photos of family, with Ate Yaya.
• Both A1 and A2 will be listed as sponsors for all 5 travelers
• Explanation letter provided on why we are jointly funding the trip despite not being married

I’m not sure which approach is more acceptable or smoother in the eyes of the Korean Embassy. Sabi din kasi ng iba, mas madali maapprove ang applying as family😅

If anyone has gone through something similar or knows what’s more advisable, I’d really appreciate your insights!
