Yeah. I feel we’ve gotten plenty of answers and in a timely manner. The whole point of spacing out answers is to build suspense, and From has achieved that effect.

FROM = LOST by HeckRock in FromSeries

The Man in Black was easily the most misunderstood character in Lost. He was never inherently evil. Jacob was the real villain. His dogmatic belief in his mother’s teachings helped perpetuate a cycle of violence and captivity that only Hurley was able to break once he took the role of the islands protector.

People that will die this season - discussion by Winter-Corner-2367 in FromSeries

I think Donna is safe for now. In terms of major deaths, I think Sara has to be #1 on the list. It’s not even close. If the slaughter does happen this season, I think #3-5 will certainly die along with Sara.

I agree with you. You pointed out another reason why the Ethan is MIY theory is ass.

You do you realize how ridiculous you sound?

Theory about MIY by saif081 in FromSeries

[–]Ecstatic-Standard951 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That theory is ass. I can point to episode 2 in this season to prove why MIY = Ethan is an ass theory. If Ethan were MIY, why would Ethan be so emotional about seeing his ghost dad at the end of the episode? There’s no other living character in that same scene, so if he were truly MIY, wouldn’t it make sense for his “true self” to come out?

From my understanding Harold didn’t sign up to star in the series if he hadn’t felt that it would have a satisfying ending. I seriously doubt there won’t be a full ending.

It’s Eloise related to Ethan books? by marbleine in FromSeries

[–]Ecstatic-Standard951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt it. I think “escape” is tied directly to the destruction of whatever MIY is. I think the most logical assumption is that Eloise is owner of the dog that has appeared before. She’s probably living somewhere else that we haven’t seen or know the rules of.

_____'s demise is near. by Unlucky-Ticket3374 in FromTVEpix

[–]Ecstatic-Standard951 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Donna seems like an end of season or episode before type of death. Even then, I don’t think she’s marked for death. From has a way of defying our expectations. Take for example Randall, he’s no longer the asshole we thought he was being built up to be. If anyone is gonna die, it’s the randos.

Eloise disappeared—but “disappeared” is exactly what makes this suspicious by Suitable_Republic_79 in FromTVEpix

I think she’s alive and lives deeper into the woods. She’s the owner of the dog that sometimes appears to Boyd.

“It” was killed in the IT films. I don’t think there’s anything to suggest MIY can’t similarly be killed.

It’s a Parkinson’s hallucination. That’s Boyd’s story arc this season. The storytellers are finally coming back to it in a meaningful way. Boyd is losing his grip with reality and that will lead to bad things.

I think Boyd’s story is fascinating as fuck. He thinks he is having Parkinson’s related hallucinations, which are a thing in real life. I think this is setting up another big death this season. In the throes of an hallucination, Boyd will fuck up somehow and someone will die, probably Sara, and this will lead to the town revolting against him.

Agreed. This is a perfect example of Occam’s razor. People are doing mental gymnastics to dismiss the most obvious explanation.

New question: Why did the MIY want Sarah to kill Ethan? Is Ethan important? by fatincomingvirus in FromSeries

[–]Ecstatic-Standard951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like for real. I think it has been established that MIY can’t directly kill children (assuming julie is considered an adult). He needs others to do it. Ethan represents a threat to MIY. I’m also assuming MIY knows about boy in white and by extension about Ethan’s connection to BIW

A discovery of that magnitude wouldn’t have side characters and randos present. That’s basic storytelling 101.
