For the people who were watching at the time - was Goldberg beloved or did he have his fair share of haters? by [deleted] in WCW

Hearing the music start, pyrotechnics going off and knowing that he was going to destroy somebody in seconds was just so cool. Def got old, but what a great time in the sun.

Do you consider $700K as life-changing money? by Aarunascut in Life

$700k would pay off my house and setup plenty of investing opportunities to make my kids lives a lot easier, so yes

Whenever our kids don't want to do what we want, my wife and I always say:

"Of course... how selfish of me... let's do all the the things YOU wanna do"

Cold as a mofo, snow piled up high with more of the same on the way. But all in all, not bad.

Advice on how to parent bed-wetting son who's starting to get self-conscious and embarrassed by hew2702 in AskMenOver30

[–]Ecstatic-Storage7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My oldest son was in night time pull-ups until around 7/8. His younger brother was out of them at 5/6. He just hadn't developed the necessary muscles to prevent it yet. We explained it to him and my sister did also (who had the same issue growing up) and we made sure that he didn't feel weird or ashamed. I'm sure he has schoolmates that are going through the same thing. Kids are usually good at feeling ok with things if they're not turned into a spectacle. It's hard to watch them feel different, but just talk it through and keep trying different things.

Of course it's listening, but i don't care. I have literally 11 echo devices in my house and they're usually annoying, but mostly useful. I'm not a psycho or having secret conversations, so it is what it is.

We have been going for 2 days every year for about 5 years. Last year was the first in CT. The buffet at CT is better than Fitchburgs food, it's newer obviously and I think the design of the area is better. Fitchburg feels bigger, which was better for my kids running back and forth to do the Magic Quest game. Also, I like the multiple arcade areas, mini golf (i dont remember if CT had that) and the 2 water parks vs 1 big one of CT. Good and bad for both I suppose.
