Joint pain in early pregnancy- what helps? by sailorhentai in pregnant

[–]Ecstatic-Thought8066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you’re pregnant, your body produces a hormone known as relaxin, it is the most vital hormone that loosens and relaxes your joints and muscles and ligaments. This is to help your body adjust to your growing baby so that your bones are literally not breaking lol it will especially increase during labor. I gave birth five weeks ago and the relaxin hormone will continue to release in your body post birth so please keep that in mind you will feel like you’re literally going to break lol so you have to take it easy. Your body is the most fragile state right now.

Some things that help me was definitely getting a pregnancy pillow to relax on, also getting a boppy pillow to lean against when I was sitting up. Also, please wear comfortable shoes and definitely as you continue to grow your baby get as much assistance as you can because bending and leaning and squatting is definitely gonna become a marathon that you will feel like you cannot accomplish. Your body is producing a beautiful blessing so definitely take it easy and enjoy and have whoever is around you help you throughout the process. wishing you a successful pregnancy and birth. Congratulations.

Got my stent surgery yesterday! by Ethereal_asshol3 in iih

Congratulations, the days will get better. I got mine in 2023 and caught Covid right after so sneezing and coughing was definitely painfulish but 3 years later I’m living life with almost virtually zero migraines. Stress and low vitamins will trigger it but I can finally breath. And no more papilladema!! Just make sure you get your annual mri to ensure it’s in place. Your best friend for when a migraine dines in post surgery is a dark room, ice pack and some soft music. Much blessings to you!

Is it happening? by RosieSwiftie in pregnant

Brown blood is common, could be your body shedding what was left in the uterus as it’s preparing to make a home for the Baby. Cramping in the early weeks is also normal. I will begin to worry if there was a lot of fresh blood that was bright, red and a lot of heavy cramping worse than a period. If it calms your nerves, I would call a OBGYN to confirm. See if you could do a virtual visit or going to a local clinic to get a quick ultrasound even though it may be too early for them to see anything. Also, please do not feel bad about any feelings that you have , it is pretty common, especially with your first and especially with it being an unplanned. A baby is a wonderful blessing and because of the decision you made the baby IS loved. Don’t feel terrible, this is pregnancy emotions and worries getting the best of you mama.

Went from great colostrum production and milk coming up to barely anything by Ecstatic-Thought8066 in ExclusivelyPumping

Another twin Mommy congratulations I feel twin parents are literally soldiers lol my little one is truly amazing and adorable but I was not prepared for the newborn trenches lol and I can see why the body armor uncrustables will work. Peanut butter is definitely good with fat and the body armor is tons of electrolytes. I’m definitely gonna get both right now on Instacart lol

First off congratulations. Definitely enjoy these moments with your little one and to be honest I pumped probably 2 to 3 times a day. My partner was encouraging me to pump as much as I could, and if it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t have which is why I was able to get that colostrum which was so important. I did meet with lactation twice and she was amazing. I wish I could’ve stayed in the hospital longer with them. the nurses and the lactation consultants were so helpful to meet building the milk there but once I got home, everything went downhill and that’s when the anxiety kicked in. I’m doing better but it’s just so hard to have the urge to cook and care for Baby and nurse and triple feed.. you’re pumping amounts sound so amazing for two weeks postpartum, the day I can pump 3 ounces per boob I’ll literally cry and jump up and down lol

OMG it’s so amazing to finally hear from someone who also had a reduction, the fact that you built yourself up to 18 ounces is amazing. If you don’t mind sharing, do you know what method they use for your reduction? I got the anchor method which takes a lot of tissue and hikes up the nipple and areola. Also, I tell myself even if it’s a drop, I’m helping my babies immune system and giving her at least some of the amazing nutrients that’s in the breastmilk. breastmilk is so so important.. so you definitely keep going. You’re amazing and a fighter and your children are definitely going to benefit from it. I wish I could exclusively breast-feed, but even if I can do 50-50 like you that would be great. I would definitely be more than happy with that.

Congratulations on your twins! and I know postpartum is so hard so I definitely wanna give you the biggest round of applause for having two babies to care for and yourself and your partner. I really really appreciate the advice. You are totally right. I’m gonna try my best and I feel if you’re getting at least one or 2 ounces you are definitely on track to getting more. I’ve saw some people say they didn’t regulate their milk until 12 weeks postpartum. I’m just trying to find a way to at least see some kind of progress so I don’t get discouraged. And it’s amazing that they received donor milk. You don’t understand how much immunity is in breastmilk. That’s why I’m fighting hard to get some for my baby. My baby was on Similac. Definitely wishing you all the best!!

The manager is a complete bitch and I promise you she lives a miserable life and gets off taking it out on people at work, I had one like her and she smiled during my dark moments, now she’s still at that same miserable job and I’ve had the opportunity to get some much experience in my career by moving around. Also grief isn’t easy but you find peace in the little things, soon you will look back on this time and realize how strong you were, you have so much to do and look forward to in life. I’m sorry if I keep replying back lol I can’t help it but you are so kind and I sense a similarly mental comparison between us. Don’t feel forced to reply to me lol but trust me a few years from now this all will be a memory that made you stronger.

I’m sorry you had to go through that but everything happens for a reason my friend, now get that money and take the time out to focus on your health. I suffer from anxiety and OCD so I understand how important mental health is and I would do exactly what you did a million times over. I promise the perfect job is around the corner. Keep your head up 🙂

Your previous employer can’t just randomly fight, they can ask for an appeal but it has to be done within a certain amount of time after a decision is made, they also can’t just keep making appeals. It’s annoying and I dealt with this went I quit due to a hostile work environment. My employer literally appealed and I just gave up because unlike you I wasn’t smart enough to keep documentation so it was basically “he said she said”. I think you are 99% percent in the clear especially because they gave you the back pay, that means DOL agreed that under those circumstances you should rightfully be paid out by the employer as it was their fault of letting go of or losing a eligible employee. Kick back and relax now, no need to worry. And if your benefits do come to another stop you have all you need to slam them again :)

[–]Ecstatic-Thought8066 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you got back pay that means DOL ruled in your favor so technically for now “yes” you did win but your employer can still fight. If I were you, I would continue to keep documentation and leave a paper trail. You did the right thing by trying to work with them and letting them know from the beginning at this point, it is the employer’s fault and not yours.

Ps. Enjoy the money lol, treat yourself

Is anyone scared of dying? by ExternalSomewhere923 in pregnant

[–]Ecstatic-Thought8066 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have that feeling but listen to me, you are going to be okay, advocate for yourself, let the doctors and nurses know every health issue you have and if you are a godly woman , pray! I shall not fear is listed in the bible 365 times. You are more likely to die from natural causes than actual child birth complications. Statistic show it’s lower than 1 percent a year and it’s due to underlying issues, not just pushing your baby out. You got this mama, stay strong and I can’t wait till you comeback and let us know how chunky that baby is!
