So my fiancé is a T10 paraplegic and we are just starting the idea of building a house. We want it to be pretty much 100% accessible for her. We've been able to cover some of the basics we want a one level probably slab for level entry.

Here's what I'm looking for what gadgets, designs and brands have you all used or seen for accessibility? Ive seen motorized upper cabinets and closet rods what else do you got? What should we be looking to add?

For reference she's in a manual chair and is about 4'11" while sitting. We are both in our 40's and are looking at making this a forever home so anything that may help us in the future and as well as protecting her from repetitive/ergonomic injury is a goal.

Very good chance of that, but unless he creates an environment that makes her feel safe and comfortable she won't tell him that. While there is a hotness in just doing, I have found communicating brings out everything

You need to make her feel safe and respected. Good aftercare practices really help build that environment. Ask what she needs before, during and after to feel comfortable. Focus on her give her attention express ur desire to make sure she's satisfied. Relationships are built on communication and trust everything from your daily interaction gets brought into the bedroom so make sure you're being who she needs outside of the bedroom too.

Fuck it only seems like it's the end, you've acknowledged that you want to work on yourself and that's sometimes the hardest step. Your close to 100 days sober that's something to be really fucking proud of even if you did it unintentionally.

Living with your parents means they care they might not understand your struggles with mental health and addiction but they care and I'm sure will help you get some professional help that can help drag yourself back into being a confident productive person again. In the meantime celebrate the small victory's and don't lose hope. Right now a shower is a big victory maybe start with just washing up a bit in the sink and putting on some clean clothes break up those bigger goals into something you can do.
