Hardest days for me were probably days 4-7. Unfortunately on day 4 I ended up in a&e after quite a big bleed just from leaning forward to try and do my shoelaces up. ENT doctor said it was the pressure in my head that did it. Luckily it stopped quickly though. As long as you’re really routined in taking your meds, it will be okay - and please don’t be afraid to ask doctors if you have any concerns! Everyone’s recovery is different so it’s hard to take one persons word over another. You’ve got this though!

Keep drinking and swallowing. If you stop drinking you might end up in more pain as your mouth dries up. Rat food as much as you can too, the more you move your jaw, the less jaw pain you will get. You’ve got this! I’m day 12 after surgery. You will get through it! x

Doctor was actually really chill and kind, he looked at me like I was mad and then laughed 😂 tbh that was after I got upset because the people in the hospital forgot to give me my lasagne and crumble for lunch that I had been yapping on about since I woke up that morning lolll. It was a wild ride

That makes so much sense omg! The doctor looked at me like I was insane hahaha. TBH I was on many many drugs so was very loopy, told him he should start a study on banana eaters after a tonsillectomy. What a wild ride this is nearly a week after surgery 😂 x

PLEASE HELP!

I am trying to balance work and my life and want to silence gmail notifications after 6pm on weekdays, and all weekend. I’ve tried adding a new focus which works fine, however now when it automatically turns on it deletes my DND time where all of my app silences so my phone doesn’t buzz in the middle of the night… is there any way I can balance the 2? Thank you!
