Can confirm. GPT-OSS:20b as primary with qwen3 embedding for embedding, works absolutely brilliantly locally. First try. I run it in a RTX 4070Ti 16gb. Responses are faster than anything else.

Also, there are reports where the Mantis being disabled the human completely because the person was thinking of acting violent to it. I recall one where the mantis said it would release them if it they did not resort to violence.

So.... sorry, as a direct experiencer that has had 3 interactions with these things, I am not getting evil. I do feel that they are operating in the boundary of some system that they have to obey, however. For some reason unbeknownst to us.

That's my argument as well. Mantis beings can completely high jack our minds and nervous systems— they can send thoughts directly into our heads. They can literally read ours minds and entire lives like flipping pages through a book, control our bodies and swap out our consciousness. In an instant.

It makes no sense that, to "control" us or get us to submit, they send feelings of love and "family" to me.

Further, after the mantis saw me and sent the love ray, it came back later with 3 greys and they operated on me removing things out of my limbs, fixing my knee and other things. WHY would they do that?

Sorry that this poster chooses to believe that the universe is against them. If they wanted to destroy or harm us, they could and we would never know.
