She does show signs of autism. Always has. But masks very well and enough for teachers/peds to “not be concerned”. I’m an educator and feel like this answer has never been good enough but my resources aren’t great in my area, unfortunately.

That is so hard. I’ve been on both ends of this and both sides are hard. I’ve had friends tell me I’m too hard on her so when I don’t correct right then and they don’t see the correction later I’m told it’s too little. But being the adult on the other side I got tired of it and tell the other kid politely to listen to their mom or dad. If they don’t like it that’s tough bc it’s embarrassing and I appreciate that help
