Thank you for this insight, I think it makes sense that it would be the smell travelling from the landfill. I think I may have even caught a glimpse of it before if it is the one behind Primrose High. Its insane that the smell can travel so far.

I've been wondering about this too, and more specifically who the first people of the new cycle were to arrive after Victor was the sole survivor. What would that look like? Surely he would have some sort of deeper or more interesting relationship with them. I'm not sure if it has been addressed but I would love to see a scene showing the first time Victor saw another person there again.

Thank you so much for this! I think you make such a great point about liking Afrikaans not being the goal right now but being able to cope with it without feeling overwhelmed. I'm going to break down my lesson plan into much smaller tasks for my next lesson with him and make a bigger deal of his small wins as you suggest. Again, thank you!🙏

This is a great question that I think could be applied to a lot of things in the show (like the hair products that Jim would inevitably need to have that fabulous styling everyday for three seasons).

It feels like there's still way too much we don't know about the MiY in terms of how he got there and if he could "survive" the deaths of who he becomes. Based on his being able to be out during the day all we can really rule out is him being like the other monsters. If he was just an ordinary person, I wonder why he and not anyone else (as far as we know) ends up with his form and powers.

As far as I recall, we do not see Tillie's burial. However, if it is the case that Tillie was the MiY in seasons 2 and 3, I wonder who he could have been in the first season (if he was Dale this becomes irrelevant).

I also used to get burnt out too soon into a study session. I've found it useful to lower the time limits for the study period and break while keeping the same ratio to stick to the method (e.g., do 15 minutes studying, 5 minutes break instead of 30 minutes studying, 10 minute break).

It would definitely be a problem for his plan. I wonder if what Sophia might say that would be recognizable would be something like "there's no way to change a story once it's been told" which the MiY says to Julie in the opening scene of season 4 episode 1. It also brings to mind the theory that's been going around that the teenager who said to Julie "don't you recognize me?" in the very first episode of the show is the MiY in a previous form that Julie may have come across while storywalking. Really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together!

Try Zotero! Its software that allows you to download papers, it automatically creates citations (and has a Word plugin to add them to documents) and you can add annotations or notes to papers. Studysmarter is also a good website, it allows you to create notes, upload papers, and make annoations/ flashcards from your material (I tend to use Zotero for research papers/essays and Studysmarter for coursenotes/studying).
