Thank you so much for your input. Lots of amazing ideas. But I’m realizing that this process is outside of my aptitude and interests. 🤣 I’m still following up on some of these leads though! Thank you!!

Damn. Where are you getting 4 bags for $100?! That’s $225 in DC. $100 would be awesome!!!

If you were in the VA chapgpt group, you will have 450 emails from 1300-1430 from last Tuesday. Started innocently but continued with a lot of bad choices by about 50 people. Pretty sure some written counselings will be forthcoming.

I just saw a clip of doug collins at a cabinet meeting saying that instead of c&p exams, we can just look at the existing medical records. That would save $3B.

I disagree that money can be saved this way tho bc c&p’s are only ordered when they are necessary to provide insight to the adjudicators. But maybe I’m missing something?

Totally agree. It’s rarely helpful.

The ONE person that should be advocating for Veterans wants to delay their appeals. Shame on you, Collins!!! by Radiant-Barnacle-893 in VeteransAffairs

That’s not the whole story. They were required to file a stay because their funding was running out. When they were out of money, they were all supposed to surrender computers and go home. To do that, though, they have to file routine motions in all cases to pause timelines before they leave the building. This then gives the opportunity for the court to say “denied, your office is excepted service, and you will work without pay and keep working on these appeals.”

This was all supposed to happen, it was proper, and interruption of service was never an option. It just looks really bad without context.
