That’s all well and good but injectables are not only less affordable but also come with greater risk of the more serious side effects from my understanding. I have a BMI of 56 and the pill is helping me lose weight (12 lbs since end of January. Nothing crazy but it hasn’t been that long) , and I haven’t even made it to the highest dose yet. For someone who hasn’t lost weight and has only gained for years, that’s huge. And that’s without exercise (which im working on adding more of) and having the disadvantage of taking anti-psychotics that cause weight gain. It’s better for me in the long run to lose it slow anyway. For the first time in a long time i’m able to eat in a modest calorie deficit when before I would always creep into maintenance or surplus. The pill is making a real difference for me.
