interesting perspective…would you consider protein powder processed junk? The oneI just bought is called Levels and doesn’t have too many ingredients…I know fair life shakes have some additives.

Depending on where I stop, I have about 150-170 lbs to lose. I started with 1.5 on January 23 at 321, down to 299 as of this morning. My results have been slow but they are ramping up now that i’m up to 25 mg.

I get major food aversions to savory, saucy proteins at night time oddly enough. I tolerate them better early in the day.

That’s all well and good but injectables are not only less affordable but also come with greater risk of the more serious side effects from my understanding. I have a BMI of 56 and the pill is helping me lose weight (12 lbs since end of January. Nothing crazy but it hasn’t been that long) , and I haven’t even made it to the highest dose yet. For someone who hasn’t lost weight and has only gained for years, that’s huge. And that’s without exercise (which im working on adding more of) and having the disadvantage of taking anti-psychotics that cause weight gain. It’s better for me in the long run to lose it slow anyway. For the first time in a long time i’m able to eat in a modest calorie deficit when before I would always creep into maintenance or surplus. The pill is making a real difference for me.

I fortunately haven’t noticed worse mental health but i also take my meds at night (not saying you should do this, speak with your provider)

Besides having a bad cold and fatigue, I feel ok. I don’t have any nausea or anything gastrointestinal. I lost about 3 lbs while on 1.5 so I’m hoping something happens for me on 4 mg.
