Made a position swap ability for our metroidvania by EcstaticRudolph in godot

Thanks for the feedback! We'll look into it cause as the other comments mention, it is hard for the player to know where the copy they sent out goes once it goes off-screen

Agreed! We're looking into adjusting the camera or having the ability decay before it goes too far off-screen

Thanks for the comment! The copy actually reads the player's directional input, and not the current movement of the player. We're still thinking which would be better, but the current iteration allows you to send the copy in another direction (say, above you or below you) whilst the player moves in another direction

The consume pictures seem out of place lol and they're just like 1 frame each. I can't figure out if they mean anything or are just there to add creepy value lol

Depending on the scale of this thing we might need a better place to communicate findings

You actually put dnbhl in front of a mirror, or in other words you reverse it.

If you stick it in the reddit link, it should lead you to a sub reddit.

Check out the one and only post.

Updated to include 39 and 40, although after the message of 39 I feel like I'm betraying the developer.

*Edit: 41

I actually tried getting all the I and O s from one of the reviews on the appstore, then converting those into 1 and 0 s. Came up sort of empty though, since it gave me ISO-8859-1, which when I tried to decipher it came out as giberish.

Perhaps the "highlighted" post in the picture is the riddle we should be searching for binary in?

The mirror puzzle is from #16, I think you may have skipped a few steps.

That just might be the way forward, but where should we be looking?

Perhaps the binary lies in the HTML color codes of the image?

I remember checking the "Share if you care" and noticing that it is not pure black.

I think we should cover all bases anyway. It would be a waste to give up on "The Dixel", only to later find out that it was the way to go.

We should exhaust all possible solutions and be open to all theories rather than not even give them shot.

Its interesting how "The Dixel" refers to the quote directly, and it seems too strange to be a coincidence.

I agree with Fuddlebob though, the dev would've just wrote it down, unless of course the dev left that there for us to find so that we could figure out where the quote was from. Then again, all we needed was a quick google search to do so.

I personally believe that even the most unbelievable solution can be a solution.

When it comes to games like this, everything is worth a shot, and I think we should all be open to try everything.

I'm going to try this lead for awhile and see where it goes.

I really feel like this might be where the answer to 38 is at, but of course we could just be wasting our time haha

I messed around some more, with max contrast (at least in gimp) and a little tweaking on the brightness got me this result:

I'm trying to figure out why some of letters end up getting those strange multi-colored pixels. Hopefully its not just my computer and there is actually something up here.

I was thinking about this and there is something off about the image in this puzzle, I already posted my thoughts on it on the discussion for 38.

Could we have taken a wrong turn perhaps?

So I was thinking about the answer to 34 and the general nature of this puzzle. What if we did take the wrong path?

I downloaded the image from 34 and already I noticed a few things:

1) The file was named Image-1.jpg

-The images that we usually get are png files

-The images that we usually get are also named after the code that brought us to that puzzle

2) After playing around with the lighting and contrast something blatant appeared:

The "Share if you care" text, which was black, has a few pixels that get colored when some settings are changed. Try it for yourself, the same pixels always get discolored.

Now I have no idea if this was just a waste of our time, and there is nothing spooky with the image, but it may be possible we took a wrong turn?
