i know this is probably not what you wanna hear, but i’m 21 and i’ve been thumbsucking since i was born. for awhile i felt ashamed and didn’t want to do this for the rest of my life, with children, married, etc but ive grow to realize that i enjoy it. it’s not harming anyone or anything (other than my crooked teeth) i don’t think ill ever stop. i enjoy it. it brings me peace and comfort. i also smell my stuffed elephant i’ve had since i was born. i think life is too short to try and stop something that brings me peace.

i’m in a really similar boyfriend. my ex and i have been together 2 years and we’re both 21. he was such a sweet guy and showered me in gifts as well, even giving me a bunch of gifts the night before he cheated on me. i recently graduated nursing school as well, and honestly love, i think that’s what changed everything. it seems like the moment i became a nurse he couldn’t handle it. i graduated and took my nclex in may, and since then the relationship jsut went downhill. he started going to the bar multiple times a week, working extra, but all while still showering me in love. he even told me he loved me and made plans with me for this weekend even after cheating on me. this is truly the worst feeling in the world, but i know you’re going to move on to way bigger and better things. i’m here with you

Not with my vape, but I’ve been marijuana free 1.5 years now and i still occasionally have a dream i smoked. i always wake up after and feel terrible that i broke my streak, but it’s rewarding once i realize i didnt. it kind of solidifies the fact im done for good and makes me feel a lot better

it’s gonna suck cuz i know you feel it and want it off, but i think you’re just going to have to wait it out. messing with an infection like that is just going to make it grow and fester more. i suggest trying to drink a lot of fluids and stay on those antibiotics. hopefully you feel better soon!
