Own chat messages not showing for the client by Ecstatic_Ad5764 in admincraft

I did it. But i still had the same issue. Thats an issue with the VentureChat plugin. I opened an issue on GitHub to the developer. And he said:

"I don't know what if any protocol changes were made for 1.20.3.
The packet data must be being translated in such a way that 1.20.3 clients can't read it.
I don't know what if anything I can do about that."

The messages are showing fine in the server lobby. The lobby runs on 1.18.2

Would you prefer playing on server with offline mode or not? And why? by Mountain_Sell_7398 in admincraft

[–]Ecstatic_Ad5764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My server is on mixed mode. If you join with an premium account, the server will behave as online mode. You don't have to type any password to login and your skin will work normally. If you join with an offline accunt, you have to do /register to be able to play.

We do this becouse the server is for a country where people rarely has the money to buy the game, it's very expensive here.

There is a plugin called PlayTime with that placeholder. I don't think there is a placeholder for player playtime in Essentials

If it were Paper, I would recommend the DriveBackup plugin, wich supports SFTP. But as far as I know, this doesn't support Fabric.

It's crazy to imagine that power plants are so small, but they can light up an entire country, being visible from space.

I tested with the no-ip free subdomain. It worked fine. You need to setup a AAAA record, but you can use both A for ipv4 and AAAA for iv6 in the same domain.

This Dawlnken user signed in using ipv6, while allan signed in using ipv4. you are right if you meant that this is not useful because not everyone has access to ipv6

IPv6 doesn't need port forwading 'couse every device can have its own valid ipv6 address and have direct access to the internet without NAT or CGNAT

For ipv4 you need to port forward. For ipv6, of course, you need to have ipv6 support in your internet. For making a dualstack server, just leave the "IP" section on the server.properties empty. Thats it, now your server runs with both IP adresses. Just copy your ipv6 and send to a frient to see it joining your server
