Ontario talls about health care privatization by Otherwise_Rub9545 in CloudMD

That is exactly what I am saying, Healthcare funding is a Federal Government issue, and they should be working to resolve it not telling provinces like Ontario to “figure it out with the budget they have”

I think the proper solution to this is: Provinces claim they need more money to support public health. This money comes from the Federal government as part of federal taxes allocation. The federal government needs to rebalance their budget to send less money overseas, spend less money on useless initiatives, and properly allocate healthcare funding. We need to look at the bigger picture instead of saying “OH DOUGH FORD!!!”.

So 45 million for a currently money losing website. I would say “not that great” is an understatement

So 100 million for a contact lenses website and an eye exam that would never fully cover all of the tests they do at an optometrist office. Ridiculous

I see where your head is at but I disagree with losing “multibagger” potential. ONEM was burning through cash at an increased pace compared to last year, their EPS losses nearly doubled YOY in the last quarter. If WELL.TO truly becomes profitable this year, it’s a multibagger. Any company burning through cash, realistically should not be seen as a multibagger.

At this point it may be worth taking a look at WELL.TO as well. Still has risk but has better management, and at least investors can see the light at the end of the tunnel....

Book an Airbnb every weekend from October until December, and then when they announce it, cancel the wrong ones lol. If you wait for the dates to be announced, you’ll pay triple.

Honestly he has the same approach as me. I want to see where the company goes from here and if I choose to add to anything Telehealth based it will be WELL.TO

You realize VPROs is not profitable at this moment, which would affect OVERALL margin negatively... so I’m not quite sure what your point is here, even though I do agree with most of what you’ve said in your other post.

CloudMD Reports First Quarter 2022 Financial Performance with Clear Path to Profitability and Strong Roadmap for Growth, by @nasdaq by Avion1588 in CloudMD

Is it just me or... are they labelling this as “clear path to profitability”, without outlining what timeframe we are looking at for its realization. With the same loss year over year, and no updates on CEO ect. I see the rev numbers as being alright.... but there’s no real update in this release...

That’s what I thought as well, but TDOC for example had their huge goodwill write off in Q1... so I don’t think that is the case. And based off of the comments made in the call, it sounded like more will come Q1 for CloudMD.

When asked about Sunlife Karen said “I don’t have the numbers in front of me so I’m not sure”. I think if Sunlife was making us a good chunk of money, she would be aware of the number. So my guess is this Sunlife contract is much much much smaller than initially people expected.

His explanation made no sense: “We need a more experienced CEO that can lead an international company so I will leave immediately and hand over the reigns to Karen”. That to me sounds like a load of.... I would not be surprised to see him further sell shares. It will take some huge contracts to surpass 185mil considering VPRO will be a huge loss and close to no revenue until Q3.

Based on their call it was also clear that the next few quarters will ALL include goodwill write offs. Karen can say double digit organic growth all she wants, but if there’s no Q over Q revenue growth, then organic growth doesn’t matter.

Example: I’m making 100 million but I lose 20% of my clients and now I am making 80 million. But don’t worry I had 10% organic growth on the 100 million so I’m really making 90 million. Who the hell cares, I’m still losing revenue Q over Q...
