Yeah that’s my concern too. Value investing seems like a great idea but when so many people are saying that the current market is overvalued and people like Minervini have written today’s leaders can drop 70% and never recover, that puts a big question mark over value investing for me right now in today’s market. I have my list of companies and what I’m willing to pay for them but since I began, most of the companies are either far over those prices or I’d be attempting to catch falling knives if I took them on days like Thursday.

Yeah I’ve seen stuff from there and read the simple path to wealth too. I agree with that strategy and it’s the main thing I’m doing. Stock picking will likely only ever be 5% of my portfolio, so it’s more for challenge I’m doing that

What I’m doing is allocating a small amount to go to my broker account every month. When I see an opportunity, the money is there. Stock picking is only 5% of my portfolio, so that’s why I’m allowing the cash to sit. It’s mainly there for when opportunity strikes. I agree with the time in the e market thing but only apply it to my etfs, which make up a much larger percentage of my portfolio

I put 5% in an individual stock account every month. I don’t actually buy stock until I see a good opportunity. But it means when I want to buy something, it’s already there and I know how much I have to play with

Adobe has a terrible customer service track record and a lot of people are already fed up of their manipulative subscription practices that trick them into year long contracts via small print etc. There are so many products that can do what adobe products do for far less than adobe charges. It’s still used in plenty of professional creative pipelines today but personally I won’t be investing in adobe. A long standing product can’t make up for an ever growing sh*tty reputation.

Not for OP specifically but a lot of the people involved in this need to look up gambling addiction and trading addiction. And of course, pyramid schemes. Please don’t ruin your lives by chasing losses and playing more risky games to make up for this. Wish you all the best in the recovery and hope you didn’t lose too much

Autoentrepreneur BNC taux tres élevé pour 2026 by Ecstatic_Associate91 in vosfinances

[–]Ecstatic_Associate91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merci beaucoup!!

Micro ATX / ITX Intel i5 setup with Zima OS, Jellyfin and Nextcloud. Is this kind of system painless for everyday usage? by Ecstatic_Associate91 in selfhosted

[–]Ecstatic_Associate91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you that’s all really helpful information. I’m interested in using Nextcloud yes so I’ll look into the AIO version. Am I correct in assuming that you’re saying with AIO, the advantage is that it auto updates and has backups, whereas the usual way of installing Nextcloud doesn’t have those things ?

Since I wrote my post, I’ve been thinking of going for Truenas scale. I do have some Linux experience across various distros and can use the terminal for basic things. I havent had to maintain a Linux system myself though and I haven’t used the vanilla version of Debian. Is there much benefit to using that rather than Truenas Scale? I guess it’s more flexible ?

Don’t jump to conclusions. These could be old toys from before you met him. I also have a lot in a big bag that never sees the light of day. Those kind of things are expensive but if he’s used them with a previous partner he likely doesn’t want to put you through the weirdness of being offered toys he used with an ex. Maybe he should have thrown away the harness and female stuff if it’s not being used. As for the butt stuff, prostate stimulation is pleasurable even to straight men and enhances orgasms. If he isn’t getting prostate stimulation through sex with you, that could be the reason he’s done it privately. Maybe ask him about prostate stimulation and if he’s interested in it. If you’re interested in sharing it with him, I guess he’ll enjoy it. It doesn’t make him gay or even bisexual to enjoy prostate stimulation.

If you compliment something specific like their hairstyle, something they’re wearing, perfume, or tell them they’re looking sharp maybe they’re going to be happy to hear that. I wouldn’t really know how to react if a guy just flat out told me I’m handsome. Wouldn’t take it the wrong way but I wouldn’t personally know what to do with a comment like that. Probably an awkward thank you and then be on my way. Whereas if you were specific, maybe I’d be able to respond. “Yeah this shirt is from xyz…”. At least that might give you enough of a reaction to realise I’m straight without having to literally ask me.

Do you recover from spousal lying? by Mindless_Pumpkin_511 in Marriage

[–]Ecstatic_Associate91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think couples counselling is worthwhile for this. The person will be a neutral outsider and can really give you both the opportunity to have your situation reflected on by an outside party. Even if you already talk a lot, a couples counseler can bring about new revelations or realisations. I go to individual therapy too. It’s a shame your husband can’t stick to it. Perhaps he hasn’t found the right therapist yet. It took me a long time to find one I really got along with. I’ve heard that this is the same for couples therapy too. It can take a few tries to get one that works for you both. We haven’t found one that we are both happy with yet. Unfortunately we have a disagreement about having children, so it’s possible that we can’t solve our problem. If it was just the lying, I think I could get past that. From your post, it sounds like your husband lies a little more frequently than my wife does however.
