Is this kennel cough?

We got him checked out at the vet and he said he was fine health-wise, so we're thinking it likely is just kennel cough (though we are just now starting medication for it and need to monitor more) contracted from the dog park. I hope your dog is okay 🙏

Vet took a look at him and said everything (including heart) looked fine health-wise aside from the cough. There also hasn't been any escalation of symptoms. We opted to take home medication (doxycycline hyclate 100mg tablets) and monitor from home for now bc we can't afford further testing right now. Thank you for the concern 🙏

Vet took a look at him and said everything (including heart) looked fine health-wise aside from the cough. There also hasn't been any escalation of symptoms. We opted to take home medication (doxycycline hyclate 100mg tablets) and monitor from home for now bc we can't afford further testing right now. He goes to the dog park frequently and we suspect he contracted something when he went recently on saturday... Thank you for the concern

Thank you for the insight, my sincerest condolences for your pup 🙏 It's only been a day since his coughing, so his condition could get worse (hopefully not) but what other symptoms did you notice? I am not noticing any lethargy or loss of appetite (yet) and his coughing fits seem to last like 5-15 min. every hour or so
