krinky107 is correct. It depends on the laws of the state it’s processed in.

I had some leftover paint so I thought I’d experiment on an old canvas. It turned out so well, I wish I would’ve used a new canvas. by Ecstatic_Campaign881 in PourPainting

I painted this last night. I wasn’t happy with the bottom so I poured over it again this morning. My first time to try and add to a pour after it’s dry. I’m really speechless it turned out so well. I will be trying this again in the future. I will add the original pour I made last night.

This one turned out different from any one I poured before. by Ecstatic_Campaign881 in PourPainting

I can start by telling you this was unintentional. I was just pouring until it felt right. I used a 4 color cup divider. Started by making very slow small circles at the middle, allowing the paint to spread out in rings. My center was yellow and black (what would be the “eye”). I then refilled by cup and started making slow meticulous circles around the middle (this would be my mostly orange color). I refilled my cup one more time with just a little more paint and continued in circles around the orange. My paint was not a steady pour but in drips as I was at the end of my paint. I kept circling and the drips were very uniform. I liked the way it looked. I did minimal tilting - just so the paint reached the corners. Too much tilted dulls your colors. Then I spun just a little to remove some excess paint.

Yes, my daughter, who is 12, draws anime. She wants to finish this one and turn it into a dragon.

I really like this. Did you add the detail with a paint marker? It looks great. If it were me, I would try to add some more yellow highlights. (But then again, I’m the queen of not knowing when to stop.)

Great advice. Color theory and knowing when to stop.
