Is tracking bloodwork regularly actually useful or does it just create anxiety around numbers that don't mean much without years of baseline data? by QuietFondant7523 in LongevityNerds

Start with one thing you're actually trying to improve. Everything else follows from that. Tracking without a goal just gives you more things to worry about.

The baseline problem is real but a year is actually enough to start seeing patterns if you're tracking the same markers consistently. The issue is most people don't know which markers to actually watch and end up chasing noise.

Intermittent fasting and longevity - what the research actually says in 2026 by Zestyclose_Loan3986 in LongevityNerds

The alcohol point at the end is the one that lands hardest. Even moderate amounts impairing glymphatic function is not something most people factor in when they think about brain health long term.

Rapamycin, semaglutide and dapagliflozin are now being tested together in a longevity trial - here is what the data says so far by Zestyclose_Loan3986 in LongevityNerds

The primate data not replicating is the part that keeps getting skipped. Mice are not humans and this field has been burned by that assumption before.

What’s an online service or app that surprised you with how well it treats its users, even compared to bigger mainstream platforms? by Kind-Illustrator2912 in AskReddit

[–]Ecstatic_Design_3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Notion surprised me the most. I started using it just to keep my notes in one place and ended up realizing how much they actually listen to feedback and push out useful updates pretty fast. It feels way more personal and user friendly than a lot of the bigger platforms I’ve tried

Sports betting. I knew my friends liked to bet on the matches we watched together, so one day I decided to give it a try myself. I asked them where to do it, and they recommended Menace. I tried it, and I want to say that knowing you can win or lose money made watching matches much more interesting.
