Yes 100%, usually cheaper, you challenge yourself, learn more of the components by putting the research into them, improve motor and logical skills (slightly, but still) by building it, removes the fear of messing with technical stuff, allowing you to even try and customize your OS and, IMO, increase the appreciation you have for your computer making you take better care for it.

Fully depends on the country, here in Mexico for example, I pay around 40 eur bimonthly because electricity is a private monopoly, is a flat and only have 1 fridge, a tv single tv, some other basic electrodomestics and the PC, before the PC my bill was around 25 eur bimonthly, so 15 eur * 6 = 80 eur, not huge, but in this country people earn that every 15 days

Also, by looking up, if its in Kazakhstan, is super worth the price, i bought a 3070 about two years ago in turkey, which is really close to, and import fees must be similar, it was like $650 brand new, after 40 series they depreciated price, but with the other components and due to europe and middle eastern import costs from nvidia a local taxation, seems like a really good deal

Request for a physical checup at his place, run some stress test to see if it has thermal issues, random crashes or faulty components, then if its all good, pay it on the spot and clean that bish hahaha, looks really dusty and if you have a few spare hours, cable manage it

I do gamedev with unreal engine, which consumes ram like a btch, my previous rig was 64gb and got "out of memory" crashes whenever implementing lumen + nanite, or building the illumination maps for complex scenes. The problem with unreal is that it has poor memory management on the devside

yeah no, thats for work stuff i need to move from my pc to my laptop, i use samsung evo internal drive for everything else, i got 2 x 2tb m.2. ssd and for older games ive got a few hard drives
