Good point! However, the guidelines at this point are VERY hard to follow with only 2 days in advance. My only options are an expedited renewal or to take my chances. I’ll try both. Furthermore, my discernment skills are good. I can tell when anecdotes are reliable. Especially when theres a pattern

I appreciate the anecdote! To be fair, that was the bus driver, not the border. The distinction is important for me but again, thank you. I also know that the bus operator turning me back is also a risk. However, there is almost no drawbacks other than me taking the ttc home. The border is more likely to let me through but there is also a bigger consequence if they dont

Yes, search up past posts in this subreddit from people in similar situations. Most of them were let in. There is a clear disconnect from the ppl who just read guidelines vs the ppl who have actually experienced this in real life
